Wonderful stay at the Casa Grande, will definitely return again

We recently attended a family reunion at Qualicum Beach and had the pleasure of staying at the Casa Grande from July 24th- 29th. We had searched numerous accomodations in Qualicum Beach and area, and had decided on the Inn, as we were looking to book several rooms to accommodate family members.
This quaint and older motel was beyond our expectations....

a little overpriced
August 17, 2013Quaint hotel, clean room with fridge and microwave, real cups and glasses (not cheap plastic), could hear kids from upstairs room footfalls on ceiling, musty smell in bathroom, noise from street from early morning til late night, overlooking beach but small windows so limited view, good location.

Perfect place to stay
July 29, 2013Whilst travelling north on Vancouver Island we always stay at this motel. It is perfect. Right across the road from the beach. The views are superb. The rooms have always been immaculately clean , and all the staff are so friendly. Many good restaurants and take away food available in the area. I could go back in a heartbeat.

Stunning sea views

Outstanding sea views with eagles flying by. We didn't see whales but locals assured us the they can often be seen as can dolphins.

Fantastic ocean views
June 10, 2013Very nice accommodations, pleasant staff. The view from each room is wonderful. The next morning when the tide was low we crossed over to walk on the beach. The rooms have a fridge, coffee maker and microwave so we sat on the deck with our breakfast and enjoyed the wonderful view.

Only downside is that the hotel is across the street from the beach with quite a bit of road noise. Room was good size and very comfortable.
