A gem in Erin
August 04, 2014A wonderful place to stop for coffee/tea or a light lunch. Also a great choice of locally sourced cheese, milk, and meat, some local sprouts and vegetables. A real gem! I visit them weekly :)

Very interesting little place with a homey atmosphere

November 02, 2013Yes there was healthy tasty local food. But that is not what got me. It was when we asked to combine three tables, the answer was yes. It's mostly a butcher shop (with some great looking cuts of meat), that has a few tables and serves delicious soup and sandwiches. What a great place for an awesome lunch

I learned that there is a new owner there and she made me feel very welcome.
I had a fantastic roast beef and cheddar sandwich on a cheese bun with a cup of great potato and bacon soup.
Plus the butcher shop case caught my eye ....just too darn bad I did not have a cooler bag with me as...

Rancid tasting sausage
April 30, 2011Yesterday afternoon, April 30th at around 3;00pm, we purchased some English bangers with thoughts of trying them for a delicious Sunday morning breakfast. It's now just before 9:00am Sunday and they are already in the garbage ! Simply the Best
December 16, 2009The title says it all. As for the reviewer "where not to eat in Erin", I would of been careful to have submitted such 'dross'. A blind person can see and feel the ambiance. Amazing wrap sandwich

Great deli - and then some

We stopped in Erin for lunch on Monday, 5/26/08, only to discover that most of the stores and restaurants are closed on Monday.
Much to our delight, we found that Carver's Block was open! They have delicious sandwiches at a reasonable price ($4.50). I had the tomato basil turkey on a cheddar roll and it was probably the best turkey...
