You purchase tokens to "play" games. Actually it is a card you swipe and based on the cost of the games your credits a are deducted. On the day we went many of the games were not functioning properly but no out of order signs. I brought this to the attendants attention and his reply was "play something else." There... more
We were there on a rainy Monday and they (similar to what someone else has said) had a "Monday Special" on for 5 things for $15 per person. There was a $1 off coupon in the book you can pick up in Clifton Hill.
Three of the five activities (Lazer Maze, Cannon Blasters and Time Freak) were really fast activities....

Went on a Friday so there was a special on. You could do 5 things for 15 dollars per person. Honestly, 3 out of the 5 things were garbage. Maybe for the younger crowd. The one where you have to push buttons on a wall as they light up only lasted for 60 seconds. The worst bang for buck ever.... more
We had a few free vouchers for the hotel, but the lady at the front desk said they had a better deal. We got glow mini golf, laser tag, later maze, time freak and cannon blaster a for a family of 4 for $30. Don't know if that was a better deal, but it was worth the price. We were... more
I visited Captain Jack's with my family over the March break and we had a blast! I have a 10 and 7 year old and I can honestly say there was something for everyone. We played mini golf and laser tag as a family and then split up to enjoy the arcade games. We spent a good 4-5 hours playing... more
For $2.00 we got $50.00 game dollars from our hotel Four Points. If you had any issues with a game just ask someone and help came right away. Plenty to do at this game room
I loved this place! Our hotel gave us a package, where we get gaming cards to use. Of course, we used those, and then some. The games were a great value, and Captain Jack's even matches your food purchases w/ gaming cards. We were there for hours and had so much fun! They had an open faced steak and cheese... more
We visited here on a Friday night only because there was a voucher included with our Hotel package that included $50 of credits and free passes to two of their indoor games which we didn't partake in. There was supposed to be a $2 card activation fee that wasn't included, but we were fine with paying that and it was... more
This is an arcade and the kids would love it (adults would enjoy but probably not admit it!)There are several floors of games. Looks like a safe place for the kids, Right in the heart of Niagara Falls Canada. If you are looking for a fun place where the kids can run around playing games, this location would be fine.
We had lunch while letting the kids play the arcade games. Our waitress/bartender did a great job taking care of us. Food was ok. Games are pretty expensive and prizes are junky but kids had fun.
We spent 2 days and had $400 worth of cards. The mini putt was fun and my husband and daughter enjoyed the laser tag they threw in for free. Staff was nice and came to help within a few minutes if the game ran out of tickets.
Games were fun and overall we really enjoyed ourselves. The only thing I...

Nothing special ..typical arcade spot .Lots of stuff not working ..
The kids had fun but could be way better ..
We received coupons from the hotel to visit which was cool .
Staff is friendly ..
Why is it that everyone is so enthralled with these stupid non-attractions that give Niagara Falls it's bad name and a reputation for being CHEESY! Food is ATTROCIOUS! Games a a major RIPOFF, all computerized and setup so the house always wins! If someone wants to throw their money away on this cheesy and expensive c@!p in the Clifton Hill... more
Obviously, it's an arcade. For children. But my husband and I had a good 2 hours of fun playing air hockey, trivia, driving cars, etc. Having a bar on site is a great way to spend your adult afternoon in an arcade!
We only went here because there was a good gaming credit included in a promotion at the hotel where we stayed. We received $100 in gaming credits, plus passes to two of the additional attractions (Time Freak and Cannonball Blasters). $100 gets you 750 tokens, which isn't bad considering most games require 3-6 credits for each play. The additional attractions... more
Their mini-golf is more aimed for children than say, a family with teens, but there were some neat places to take photos (cut out figures, etc.)
The food at the restaurant was lousy, but the beer was cold and that was what we really wanted!
There were a few pool tables and arcade games and if we'd had the extra...

Playing the games was the best part of what we did there. We spent hours there and got more for redemption than at the midway. The only disappointment was that when we went upstairs wanting to eat, the kitchen was closed. They never told us at all.
My girls like Dave & Busters and know what to expect. The food was average and the games were just what we were looking for. Our waitress did however try to give herself a $42 tip...not al all impressed by that but I let her and everyone else around know it. Not a bad spot to spent an hour or... more
This was our first time at Captain Jacks. On the google map it still shows up as a Dave &Busters so not sure how long its been since management switched over.
We had a $25 card and it took a while to use it up. There are lots of arcade games and other stand-alone games like canon-blaster and laser tag....

The arcade was clean and most of the games were in good working order. I was not impressed how I had a wagjag to redeem and the two teenage girls at the counter argued among themselves about which of them had to redeem it for me. They appeared very bored and did not make eye contact with me whatsoever.
We received $50 in free vouchers with our hotel package. It took us quite some time to go through the $50, believe it or not. It is just your typical ticket games, where you accumulate them and exchange them for prizes. It was fun earning the tickets on all the games. The prizes were very minimal, however. The restaurant was... more
I recently went to Niagara Falls with my 8 year old daughter for the 1st time November 2013. We got a Groupon for Captain Jacks and I am glad I did. We stayed for 3 days and whenever we wanted we popped in for an hour or so. The staff was so nice, the place was very clean and we... more
Received coupon or $100 from Embassy Suites stayed. There are lots of fun games and arcade that could win tickets for exchange for prizes. We especially love the game "Deal or No Deal". We spent more than 2hrs and exchanged some toys with the ticket won. thanks for the fun afternoon.... more
Stayed at the Embassy Suites Fallsview. Did not book a package - but, was given a coupon for Captn Jacks at check-in. The coupon was for $100 worth of gaming for $24 CDN (inc tax). I was skeptical (thinking the games would be overpriced) - but, paid the $24. Glad I did - great value! For 2 hours, my kids... more
Captain Jack's Pirate Cove deserve a 3.5/5 but there's no .5 options available on TripAdvisor.
Me and my boyfriend visited this location during the long weekend for some fun and games. The Groupon we bought was only $39 but worth at least $100. The deal came with a $100 playing card with 1 attraction (eg: mini putt, laser tag, laser...

Dropped in for some fun and we had a good time - our 6 yr old daughter loved it and had a great time. Game choice is a little limited, but for an evening or 2, it's hard to beat, esp. for $39 (and we still have a credit on our play card)
This place is fun for an hour or two, but has a limited number of arcade games and a very limited selection of prizes.
Attended with my 2 teen daughters in August on a WagJag that included the Laser Tag, Laser Maze, Mini golf and a $20.00 play card.
For what we paid it was good. If we had paid full price I think we may have been disappointed.
Laser tag - 10 minute game. Was fun but it is all on one level...

Great groupon!!! $39 for laser tag mini golf ect... and a $100 play card. Kept my 2 and 10 year old busy for hours. Didn't try the food but the groupon was well worth it. Awesome time. Thanks.
Well, this was previously Dave and Busters but must have recently closed and reopened as Pirates Cove. pretty disappointing. The only reason it was worthwhile is because we had a Groupon to receive $100 game play card for $39. We did get a lot of play out of it, but Manager was RUDE and a lot of games weren't working.... more
I had a turkey avocado BLT and strawberry shake. Both were amazing! Loved them. My boyfriend got a balsamic chicken dish that was good. Definitely going to come back for a night of games and food!
We went to this place which is now pirates Cove. They offer a breakfast buffet that is $10 per adult and $7 for kids. This includes coffee and juice. Many other places charge extra for drinks. The food was hot and simple. Eggs, bacon, potatoes and French toast. Cereal and toast also available. We each received a $10 card to... more
The food was great and the drinks were probably the cheapest around. The name has changed though. I would def go back. They did have UFC fight but you were secluded into one area and couldn't drink out of that section, no good!
This is good place to watch a UFC fight. Unfortunately they don't let you take you beer downstairs were the video game are.
We had a package which included, game play card, mini put, lazer maze, lazer tag, time freak and cannon ball blasters. We had a great time there, especially the lazer tag, my son wanted to go again. It would be good to get it as a package to make it cheaper through a hotel. We also purches more game play... more
Came here with vouchers from our hotel as well as a groupon. Was worried after the mixed reviews, but my daughter and I really enjoyed ourselves. We had good experiences with customer service, although they are understaffed in the activities areas so it's a little frustrating when you want to do TimeFreak or CannonBlasters. They had a great variety of... more
Let me start off by saying that the food was fine, nothing fancy, but good enough for a fairly inexpensive restaurant. I didn't purchase the eat and play combo because I had already been to an arcade earlier.
When I went there the restaurant had 2 or 3 small parties seated. I was part of a party of 2. We...

Games were old, staff didnt care about anything, all together horrible. Cant drink in certain areas. I am from Pittsburgh and the D and B there is amazing. There is no comparison. Dont waste your time. They said tomorrow it wont be a Dave and Busters anymore it will be Pirate town or some garbage.
We were not impressed with this venue being that we usually hit a Dave & Busters if there is ever one where we are traveling. We found out they are not affiliated with the ones in the U.S. which explained a lot They games were more to pay and the ticket pay out was not accurate (the kids play to... more
We ate here after a tiring morning and we were pleased with the specials as well as the regular menu.
There was a package to dine and play which was great.
I took my two teenage daughters here for a girls night and we had a fantastic time. With the groupon you can play endlessly and still have room to return another day. My daughters reverted back to children playing all the games they remembered from their childhood. We had a blast and the enviroment was clean and uncrowded although there... more
My husband and I went to visit this attraction as part of a weekend getaway package over the winter. We are not too familiar with the games but managed to find some we liked like pinball, air hockey and trivia. It was a fun way to spend some time together and relive those teenage years.
What can I say that the tile doesn't. It took forever to get a drink and then the waitress acted like it was a chore to bring us out our cruddy, over cooked, over priced, bland, excuse for food.
The front desk/ticket counter guy was more interested in talking on his phone then helping the guests. we went back to...

We went on a Wednesday. It wasn't very busy. The Arcade was big and there was a huge variety of games. I seen that the Guitar Hero game was fairly popular. Brought my daughter to Dave & Buster's for her Birthday with family and friends. 2 $100 game cards lasted my 3 kids and 6 friends 3 hours of fun! Doing activities in Niagara Falls is hit and miss for the value if the dollars you spend. Some things last only minutes and cost far too much. I expected the similar feeling to be assessed in David & Buster's. Not so!! I was pleasantly surprised that a $25 token card took 1 1/2 hours for my son to use. The... more
Had my sons 10th Birthday there! It was great and the cost was reasonable for a party of 5. Their is a lot for kids to do as we spent about 3 1/2 hours there. We had pizza and ceasar salad and pop which was all you can eat. I would definitely recommend this place and I would return!
With the technology we have these days, these games should be much better than what they are.
We went to Dave & Buster's 3 times while we were in Niagara Falls. The only reason was that our Groupon included $50 of game play and I had 3 Groupons, so $150 worth of tokens. We decided to let our daughter use...

our entire trip to Niagara was ruined during our first 2 minutes inside this place! All due to a very VERY snobby and rude clerk (medium high, blond hair in a pony tail). We got coupons from hotel to play there. I also bought Groupon deal, that's why we could afford to play there. It is very expensive to buy the game cards there and each game is quite expensive.
