Great place for groups.

This is a great place to stay for a ski trip or other group activities. Don't expect luxury, this hotel is best described as comfortable. Within easy walking distance of shopping. The kitchen and bbqs help keep you out of restaurants. For the price they can't be beat!

This is a good place to stay. Hotel itself is outstanding. Only great problem is location. Railroad tracks are outside your back window and trains run all night. Not suitable for a light sleeper or those with small children. But it is typical of all properties in Canmore on that side of the road.

More than we expected

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We found that the dishes were not very clean so we recleaned and bleached before using. Beds are a little outdated as far as softness of the mattresses go. Girls 20 year reunion weekend

What a great place for our reunion we had enough room easily for 6 of us, never heard others make noise and everything was just what we needed. Simple nothing fancy but worked for us! The rooms have a little bit of wear but I wouldn't let that stop me from renting again we will rent here again for sure!

This was perfect for a 3 days stay. Plenty of space and everyshing there for preparing a meal. I am just not accustomed to the noise of the heating.

Excellent Value

Great price for what you get. For only $109. you get a 3 bedroom 3 bathroom condo! Living room has a fireplace, hideabed to sleep two more and two patios. It is a little dated but clean and convenient location. 24 k from Banff great for a family or group of friends. Our unit was on the front so did not hear the train at all.

Very enjoyable, too short

We really enjoyed our stay. The chalets were large and there was a lot of space. The area is fantastic, views amazing. It made us wish we could have stayed longer!

Room was nice, although a little outdated. Occupants above were very loud. Overall it was a good stay.

Only hotel that will sleep 8 people

This is the only hotel that provides 3 bedrooms and a sofa that converts to a bed. So for large groups this is very convenient and reasonably priced. It has a hot tub and pool table. Rooms have an electric fireplace and it is nice to hear the rumbling of the trains going behind the hotel property. Fun for large family with kids.

Nice little suite in the mountains

Clean, roomy, would have liked to have stayed longer. Only downfall was train tracks right outside our bedroom windows. Stayed one night & probably heard half a dozen trains go by.

Great place to stay with family. Large enough to move about. Had all we needed to be comfortable. The BBQ facility was great. Loved sitting on patio withorning coffee soaking in the scenery.

Great place

Room was exactly what we needed, we left hoping we will come back in our next trip to the mountains. Clean, lots of privacy, comfy, bathroom was ok, kitchen too, we had a perfect stay.

Cheap 3-bedroom apartment style in Canmore

Spacious 3 bedroom unit in Canmore complete with kitchen. 15 mins to Banff town proper and about an hour from Lake Louise. Staff were nice and accommodating. There is a hot tub and barbecue on site. The unit needs a little updating especially new carpets. Unit is located next to a railway and with windows open (no air-conditioning) can get really loud.

Beware of trains

Excellent staff and spacious rooms. Very noisy due to trains, avoid if you're a light sleeper. Also no AC and rooms hot in summer .

Good place to stay except for location

The chalet style of room had a bit of a home feel to it. Located near the train tracks the noise kept me up most of the night the first night as a train passed nearly every hour through the night. By the second night I was able to sleep through most of the night as I got used to the noise.

Close to city centre

Comfortable stay; clean rooms; only thing is no matter if you are a light or heavy sleeper this is located directly along the train tracks and numerous trains pass by through the night and they are VERY loud. Otherwise, would stay here again. No complaints.

Great location, and perfect for a girl's weekend!

It was a great hotel to stay at, there was 3 of us gorl's and it was nice to have 2 seperate rooms. It had a great convenient kitchen and living room even a kitchen table. For facing the main road it was very quiet at night. the front staff wasnt very personable but we didnt have to deal with them for long. We only stayed the one night but I would definetly stay here again.

Great location

This was our second stay at this hotel under two different management groups and both experiences were GREAT. the only issue that we had was that the air conditioner could not keep up to the heat outdoors.

Awful for the price!

Beds still have hair from previous renter, & the comforter smells like it's never been washed for months. There was still old coffee ground in the coffee maker! The train passed by every hour at night only a few meters away from bedroom location! Only good part was it had a kitchen!

You get what you pay for.

If you want to save a few $$$ and you don't mind unfreindly staff, an old dingy room and being 50 feet from the trian tracks with your windows open all night because there is no air conditioning... then this is the place for you!

Everything was ok except the noise caused by the train. Several trains come by each night and wake us up. The room is dusty too, not very clean as other hotels.

Nice place, great for familiies

Spent two nights in this place. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We didn't fully utilize the living room and kitchen areas, but it was really nice for the kids to have their own room for a similar price to other single room hotels. I would definitely recommend this hotel to families.

The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The chalet was nice with 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen and living room. It suited our needs pretty well. Very convenient location

The hotel is conveniently located, easy to access from the highway and very close to the town center. Canmore is a great place to stay, only 20 min. drive to Banff. Close to everything

Had a bad experience as we were on the bottom suite and we had drunk people above us both nights and beside us upstairs. Had to call security and still that didn't stop them from partying. For the price you are paying it is not worth it as we have stayed at way better hotels and they have cost less. Also we are a family of five and there are alot of younger people that stay there.

This hotel wasn't great and I've seen worse. The rooms needed a thorough cleaning along baseboards, there was some nasty stuff there.Otherwise it was cheap. You're typically there for the location. Don't think we'll be back

The moment we walked in, the room wreaked from a strong odor of cooking/curry (soaked into the walls, from previous occupants). Immediately, we asked the front desk to change rooms and were promptly denied.Tried to open the window to air out the room, only to find the crank to the window was broken right off. The best hotel of our whole trip.

The accomodations were clean and spacious. The location gave us easy access to Banff and the surrounding park, hiking and scenery. The rooms were beautifully appointed and homey. It was definitely the best place we stayed during our 2 week trip to Canada. And the prices were quite affordable. I will definitely return again.

Just OK

Hotel is showing signs of wear & tear - needs a facelift. Right next to railroad tracks and therefore quite noisy - busy road on the other side, so there is no getting away from the noise. Very spacious for the money, but rather dark and the "mountain" views were limited at best. I wouldn't stay here again.

Excellent choice for group or family

We were there to celebrate a birthday. Rented a 3 bedroom Cougar Chalet for ourselves, two grown up children and their partners. It was perfect - we had lots of space and were able to enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the room the next morning. Lots of excellent restaurants close by. Very good value for the money spent.
