I love this place and prefer to buy as much of my computer parts as possible. Depending on the day you may have to wait for help from staff behind the counter but it's by far better than the big box stores. I did try other locations and would say that this one is the best location I have been to as there is lot's of parking, it's clean and the staff are knowledgeable.

Come here with my boyfriend a lot and they sell a lot of the things he wants to build his computers but sometimes they do give him the wrong part. The phone service when ordering a part or putting one on hold isn't the greatest either.
I've bought a lot of parts from them and they were always fantastic. I've been an avid buyer from there over the many years I've went there
Called twice this morning hoping to get a quotation for a laptop repair. The initial answering of the phone is always quick, however both times I was transferred to the service department, I was on hold for about 5 minutes (silly me for waiting that long) and no one in service ever picked up my call.
It's worse that while on hold, there's no music or beeping or any message playing to confirm...

Every one of my experiences at this shop has been horrendous.
A few years back, I was looking for a connector for my car to play music from my iPod. The salesman sold me a device. At that point in my life, I'm not that tech savvy and this whole connectivity thing is too new. I go out to the parking lot, try making the thing work with my iPod, and it doesn't work. Meh. It's Canada Computers. Probably my *least* favorite computer shop, ever, to buy parts. Yet they generally have the best prices, so I find myself here more often than I'd like.
The thing about Canada Computers is, it's affordable enough and easy to get served and get your item (most times). But God forbid there is something wrong with your product, getting them to do an exchange or refund...
