Amazing views and service is good - awesome to be in cambridge!
Brunch done right. Everything you can think of, from an omlet station to fresh oysters, and crepes made to order, and crab legs, or pan seared salmon. There is most certainly something for everyone. I must admit i was quite impressed with both the prime rib and roast pork at their meat station, but others in our group loved the huge pot of crab legs on ice, but you cant overlook the other items... more
Went for highly recommended brunch and it was only ok. Service was attentive but impersonal so it made for a conveyor-belt type feeling of get them in get them out. Server actually walked away mid sentence. Food was fairly average but the selection was impressive. Oysters were a highlight and these eggy hollow muffin things a real low light. They have belgian waffles but only one is made at a... more
Hands down the best oysters around! Exemplary service, always with a smile and quick to offer a recommendation if you're unsure!

We went to the Cambridge Mill for dinner yesterday. We made reservations for a river view table. We had great hopes for this place. We got all dressed up and all for this dinner. After 1 hr of being sitting at that boot my back was killing me so I made a comment to our... more
The food as always good , however why always the service is so poor . The wine is never in the right quantity we are table of six and at the third bottle they said that is the last one. Next time train or pay better your waitress and have... more
Cambridge Mill is a nice and beautiful restaurant fitting for wedding receptions. You will get the amazing view of the Grand River. The view of the river is so pretty especially on a sunny day reflecting lots of light.

What an experience. We were seated next to the window. The dam in the winter looked like a frozen waterfall. The place was very clean and bright; really puts you in the right mood first thing in the morning. Their staff was alert and friendly. We didn't need to wait for long to have our waiter attend to us. The brunch was amazing. It was worth the drive from Markham Ontario super early to try... more
Fantastic view, excellent service. The food was slightly on the expensive side (comparable to other nice restaurants, non-franchise restaurants) but it was okay. There was nothing special or memorable about the food and the only reason why I would go back would be for the view and service.
Had a wonderful dinner here for Valentine's Day last night! The food was delicious and the service was excellent, especially considering how busy they were.
I was impressed right off the bat when we were offered a ride in a golf cart from our car to the entrance. It was much appreciated, especially considering how cold it was! Our server was also very helpful and attentive throughout our meal....

Firstly, no denying the decor is beautiful and I imagine is wonderful for a wedding reception. Hence the 2 stars. Unfortunately, it ends there. I have visited The Mill several times, always for dinner. While the food is ok (and only ok), the service is borderline hilarious....truly thought there must be a camera hidden at times! My last visit on NYE went like this: seated at 9pm, waiter... more
Went here for a wedding and reception, and the food was amazing. But that is to be expected from a wedding.
The mill is absolutely beautiful. The views of the river and rushing water. The reception was over the river and the bar was all glass, to give excellent views of the river and lit by natural light of the setting sun.
I came here for a business function. The staff was incredibly helpful while we were setting up, as we forgot to order a screen for our presentation, so they went and found their's for us.
We had the dining room overlooking the falls to ourselves. A beautiful view.
The food was incredible. Highlights include the bread (yes, the FREE BREAD) which was a moist, airy and thick focaccia with...

We had our wedding at the Cambridge Mill in 2014. It's hard to explain how beautiful the mill really is. Anyone who attends your wedding will be shocked at the beauty of the place. The mill was so great! A beautiful venue, great food, and the staff were more accommodating then I could have ever asked for. Perfect place for a wedding .
Beautiful venue with excellent attention to detail. Did not have to worry about anything the day of the wedding.
Beautiful. wonderful staff. wonderful service. food was delicious....venue breathtaking.
Amazing atmosphere, views and service. Definitely very upscale. But they also have a few cheaper items on the menu if you don't want to spend too much. The risotto was amazing. Best risotto ever!
We thoroughly enjoy having brunch at Cambridge Mill. The food is always great, as is the ambiance. It's always a pleasure and special treat to go there.
Our first time at the Cambridge Mill and I can only say outstanding in all respects. Great food, well prepared, with excellent menu choices. The ambience was excellent and the views stunning. I can honestly say that this is the best fine dining experience I have ever had anywhere in Canada or the USA.
The food, atmosphere and scenic view was very good. We found it a little over priced since our last visit.
Our waitress was the best I've ever had! Food was excellent (as always)!
Cambridge Mill has a décor which compliments it's location. The food is amazing, world class taste, presentation and good portions, I would compare the food to high end restaurants of Europe / Mediterranean and I have been to numerous over the years. Very few places give you the feeling that something special needs to be celebrated to warrant visiting them. Cambridge Mill is one of them.

So there's a few things you should do before going to Cambridge Mill for brunch.
1) Find a designated driver
2) Wear loose elastic gym pants
3) Make sure you can take a long nap in the afternoon.
All I can say is, my meal was pure gluttony. Unlimited Casesar's, sparkling wine or mimosa's? All three please! Feeling, a bit sleepy from all the drinks? There's also unlimited coffee and tea.

We had a wonderful meal looking out over the river and dam. The only drawback was I ordered champagne for my wife and they brought a flat glass. This has happened to us before And when you are paying $22 per glass some restaurants are serving old champagne. It is disappointing when your total bill comes to over $150 and they try this trick.
I was dining with Lynda. I had the hamburger and caesar salad. While the hamburger itself was very tasty, there was too much sauce and I would have preferred it without the sauce. The salad was delicious. A very nice ambiance with good service and lovely table setting. Bonnie
We live very close and my wife and I went for a birthday celebration. The place is an awesome facility. They have spend millions of dollars to make it a very impressive building.
We sat on the main floor overlooking the river and the view was outstanding. Too bad nobody had dusted the window ledges for 6 months. Dust and grungies just a few feet from where you are eating is not too appetizing....

The location on the river is wonderful. The food was excellent and the staff was very accommodating regarding food sensitivities. Two from our group of four had our meals adjusted to avoid these sensitivities with no problem. It definitely is a great location for a special evening.
We took some friends there for their 20th anniversary and it was great as usual. Now it is their new favourite place too!
My first experience for brunch. Definitely not my last. Food and selection was truly amazing. Complementary Caesars and Momosa's with Brunch. Exceptional Service. I had Roland again, the same gentleman I had for our Anniversary. Extremely attentive and knowledgeable. Thank you for the amazing...once again, dining experience.

We decided to come to Cambridge Mill because we are thinking of getting married here. The pictures on the Internet do not do it justice. Everything was beautiful!! The food was amazing and the overall night was better than we could have imagined. I definitely would recommended this place for any occasion or nice dinner out.
Second time here and second time it was a special occasion with no acknowledgement and they were out of certain menu items. The food was ok, service decent.
Cambridge Mill uses locally grown foods and even has their own farm from which they receive produce. very limited menu and not interesting
very slow service for a night that was not busy
Went for drinks and maybe dinner, thinking maybe 90 minutes to 2 hours, we ended up having dinner staying 5 hours. Great view, great ambience, great food, and company to match.
Wonderful place for having a relaxing brunch experience. The price is a little steep but you are paying for the atmosphere by the falls and the food is of excellent quality. Very fresh and nicely presented. Good variety and always lots of it. Well trained staff, attentive and even replaced our utensils half way through the brunch. We will be back. Thank you for such a lovely experience.
Wonderful experience..great food choices and presentation. Will come again soon! Helpful friendly staff add soooo much to any dining experience. Thank you again,
We have always had great service and flavourful experiences at the Cambridge Mill. The view of the river and the beautiful interior add to the overall ambiance.
Had a lovely dinner before going to see a show at the Dunfield Theatre which is close by. Very pleased to have some innovative and tasty vegetarian options on the menu. Nice place to go with a wonderful view of the Grand River. Our server, Paul, was very attentive and helpful.
Would recommend the Cambridge Mill to our friends.
We enjoyed the Mill. When we arrived we were seated quickly -- our table was as requested with a view. Unfortunately, the air conditioning is directly above the table and it was strong and cold. I found that the hot items for brunch were not really hot enough. They kept running out of plates at the salad section and for the price, it was too expensive a place to go to.
The Cambridge Mill was a very enjoyable experience. We celebrated our 39th wedding anniversary, and could not of had a better time. The meal and presentation was awesome, the service was very personal and our waiter tried to accommodate us since it was very hot that evening. The atmosphere and scenery were unbelievable. Will definitely recommend your restaurant to many people.
Asked to be moved from a window table since air conditioning blowing down on us by the window, plus very load table behind us. Longer wait to be brought menus after we moved. Server very friendly and well informed. Food especially caesar salad and salmon were excellent, bivette steak was pretty good. House wine by glass very expensive. Had a good evening with our friends.
We recently celebrated a friend's birthday and retirement by having lunch at the Cambridge Mill. It was an outstanding afternoon! The service was friendly, prompt and attentive. We each chose a different menu item - they were well prepared, well presented, and thoroughly delicious. The restaurant made our friend feel special and celebrated - couldn't ask for more!
I enjoy the Cambridge Mill every time I go there. The view of the Grand River is simply magnificent, their service has always been friendly & helpful; and the new menu is a good balance of the traditional & the nouvelle cuisine. This is just a great restaurant in our small city that nearby people should surely visit if they have a chance!
