You might think you'd miss the meat, but this turns out to be one of the better restaurants in town.

Everything seems to be made fresh, and it's full of flavor. If I had this much skill, I might become vegetarian too.

The only thing conspicuously missing from the menu is a good stir fry.

Very good restaurant. I am a red meat eater. Went there for lunch on a date. I was really amazed by the quality of the food. I will surely go there again even if they don't serve any of my favorite meals.

Wow! I didn't expect this to be solo good. I ordered Oaxaca deep dish and it was great. The ambiance and service are 5 star. Top this off with a nice double shot of coffee and I'm all set.

Was a little stretch trying a vegetarian restaurant but the food fair was yummy and the Mustafa was a delicious brunch choice. The tabulleah (sp?) was very tasty. The atmosphere and service was quaint, attentive, and comfortable. The porch was a good seat too.

I was pleasantly surprised by my experience, given the wide range of reviews. I had the the falafel flute, a chapati wrap, which came with a small salad. My meal was fresh and delicious. The dressing, veggies, and falafel were perfectly balanced and carefully put together so that I could eat my wrap without it falling apart. The mint tea that I ordered with it, was a perfect match.

Delicious vegetarian fare, with vegan options. Very busy on a Friday at 12:15 for lunch, so be prepared to put your name on a waiting list and to hang out for 15 minutes or so. I LOVE this restaurant! All of the food tastes delicious and just eating it makes you feel vibrant and healthy.

The guacamole would not be out of place at finer restaurants in San Francisco. They deserve a medal for managing to find decent avocados this far northeast. It's worth the trip for just the tomato lentil soup.

Definitely the Moosewood restaurant, 70s style, PUT SPROUTS ON EVERYTHING school of vegetarian cooking, but still really good, semi-light fare. The shalom salad with the felafel and tofu cream was really excellent. Get your chakras aligned and chill by the train tracks here.

Calactus is a lovely place not only for vegetarians, but for everyone.

The menu is diverse but not overwhelming and is reasonably priced - especially considering the quality. It's also vegan friendly, so this is a place than can satisfy everyone.
