Nice atmosphere to chill in on ste Catherine with some of the best waitresses in town. Food I slightly above average pub fare.

Filling food at a good price

This is a basement location on a busy downtown street. Check out the funky artwork on the walls! The food is an eclectic mix of cuisines with something for everyone. I have eaten here twice and been satisfied (and stuffed!) both times. Service is on the slow side but the staff are very pleasant.

Cafe L’Etranger is one of my favorite hang-outs in town.

Why?
So many reasons.

A really affordable Table d’hote, where you can get a soup, main meal, tea or coffee for less than $10 bucks (before taxes). The Table d’hote is constantly updated with a selection of ethnic meals, from General Tao Chicken, a fresh pasta with original sauces, the occasional Greek or Indian dish, a variety... plus

Huge menu, very good wraps and paninis. Good desserts too. Service can be a bit slow sometimes, but we always go back. :)

Endroit vraiment sympathique, ils ont une très grande sélection de bières importées et aussi de la bière locale en fut. Leur menu est très long (beaucoup de pages !).

Les sandwichs et paninis sont vraiment délicieux et ils en ont vraiment pour tous les goûts. Le tout servi avec salade et chips.

Un band de jazz joue les soirs de fin de semaine.
