We ate here on a recent trip to Montreal. Nice ambience with a lighted bubble display and open windows onto the street. Service was good -- the server wasn't a fluent English speaker, but with a bit of French thrown in we had a grand time. Food came promptly and was presented well. Not too pricey because it's away from... plus
Dommage.
Excellent quality/price ratio. Great lunch specials with soup & dessert for $10-$15. Super service and nice ambiance.
Superbe ambiance soignee, service agreable et attentionne. Delicieux mets. Excellent rapport qualite/prix.
Not so many cafés in the area, so i'll be more generous in my
comment. Anyway, this is a fair one, to hang out forever reading
the latest edition of Voir or Mirror. Or to pretend to be a poet.

Café Extase is a chic little bistro in the eclectic Villery area. With its comfortable leather seats, high ceilings, and lovely cloth napkins, it's definitely more refined than your regular coffee shop. One of the perks is the copious daily French Canadian breakfasts with choices of omelets, sausages, crepes, fresh fruits, English muffins and more. Unpretentious meals for an unpretentious cost.
