Horrible food and ambiance & asked to leave table within 5 minutes
A group of 5 went there to celebrate my mother's 85th birthday today. The food was awful and the ambiance was not much better. To boot, we had not even finished eating and the evening Manager (Costa) asked that we leave the table within 5 minutes because the table was reserved. I mentioned I thought that was unfair given that it was my mother's birthday and she had not finished eating. I was told I was not the only table. We did not even have the option to change tables! I had to tell my mum we had to leave, much to her dismay. I left without leaving a tip and will NEVER go back.

i don`t understand how this place is still open. i went here a few years ago and i thought it was completely disgusting!
Decent Food
Wide selection of food served here, like fries, chicken, fish, salad, pizza and the list goes on. The only thing which was a needle in my back was the service. We had a rude waitress with dirty finger nails and the manager who was seating everyone, placed all the colored people in one section and all the white people in another. I don't know if he was racist but it felt weird. Nothing like some segregation when you eat!
Nasty Buffet Restraunt
I got sick cause of the chicken in this restraunt. It weren't cooked long enough and I got salmon ella. I tried to complain to the Manager a couple days later when I felt better but he was nasty and rude to me and ordered me to get out of the restraunt. He embarrassed me in front of a whole restraunt of people and accused me of being homeless, which I ain't.
Undercooked Chicken, Cigarette Butt For Dessert
A co-worker and I stopped by Buffet Vichy on Newman Boulevard in LaSalle for lunch and the food was fine until I bit into a chicken drumstick. To my horror, the meat near the bone was pink, almost red, due to undercooking. It's lucky that my co-worker and I didn't come down with salmonella poisoning.
Not only that, my friend took a bowl of rice pudding for dessert. The top of the rice pudding was smooth, and he dug into it with his spoon. He found a cigarette butt in the rice pudding that was obviously baked in, because of the previously mentioned smooth surface of the pudding. Absolutely sickening!
When we complained to the manager, he leaned forward and I had to move my drink lest the drops of sweat from his brow drip into it. He'd rushed from the kitchen and was perspiring profusely.
He finally agreed to give my friend his meal at no charge -- how generous of him. The waitress was very surly. "That's coming outta MY pocket!" she snarked, loudly enough for us to hear.
I wouldn't even recommend this place to the mother-in-law.

You get what you pay for here...no more/no less
June 04, 2011I don't eat here often.....but every once in a while if I am in the mood to eat a lot of food on the cheap, I'll drop by.Lots of choices, food isn't terrible (not great either)...but what you see here is what you get. Try to come on a weekday evening....the food seems a little better during the early evening than near closing.

Crowded and Noisy

A great buffet, prices are normal for buffets. The only problem at this location was that the food "ran-out" at some points, you had to wait 10 minutes so that they can refill it.

This is a good italian buffet, with fresh food. The service is more than excellent, considering the size and number of people in the restaurant. A great place to bring the kids, they'll have pizza a plenty!
