A soft opening doesn't last 6 weeks

Now the Lion Rampant
July 09, 2014Rebranded and renovated as the Lion Rampant. Great deck with wonderful views over Maple Bay. Wide beer selection (wine selection could be better) and good, tasty, wholesome pub type meals with a Scottish twist. The renovations don't seem to have made it as far as the men's toilets yet.

Growing pains...and what a pain
July 04, 2014new owners, new theme...but don't bother for a while. They've been open a few months now and STILL having growing pains. Good pub grub - Scottish themed

Great Marine view pub

Gorgeous View...OK Food
July 27, 2013The pub is right on the water of Maple Bay. The view is outstanding and the staff is great. The food is OK and they do not offer fries as they have no deep fryer. Caesar salad is usually good, but can be hit and miss. They make a great Caesar beverage and have a variety of beers on tap.

May 04, 2013My friends and I came in today for lunch. It was very busy and our poor waitress was the only one working in the pub. We are regular customers
April 25, 2013My friends and I can be found every Friday afternoon in this pub. Our usual waitress is funny and attentive, burgers are juicy and the view is beautiful. Would recommend to anyone.

Yes , Maple Bay does deserve better than this

We dive at Maple Bay at least once a month .
Nothing better than a hot lunch and a cold beer after a dive .
The Brig is within walking distance of the dive site . A no brainer , we will go there .
Once was more than enough .
It has been for sale for a long time...

Best View In Maple Bay

What a view
August 12, 2012The Brigantine Inn pub has the most amazing view of Maple Bay from its patio. Stunning!!! (I'd post a photo, but you really should just go and see it in person!) Why is this place still in business
August 26, 2011I'm a Maple Bay resident and can't understand why this place hasn't shutdown yet. Apart from the booze that you can get anywhere, the food is horrible. The views of the bay and their large patio are great. What a waste, could be so much more!
