What a view! Fresh food- I had the oysters and Risotto. Loved the coolness of Granville Island and the view from Bridges upper patio was perfect to watch the sunset. I'm coming back for sure!

The Bridges patio on Granville Island has a great location, hanging over the water with boats of all sizes coming and going. With this location it could get away with mediocre food and service but it does much, much better than that.

Great Outdoor Patio

We had a late dinner at the Bridge while on Granville Island. The food was very good..including the dessert we shared. The patio is large and very accomodating; overlooks the bay.

Great place to sit and have a cocktail and enjoy your surroundings

This is a great place to just relax and have a cocktail. They have great service and you feel welcome.We had nachos and there was lots...and great I might add..its a nice break from roaming around in the market and taking all that in and you can catch the water taxi just down from it to go downtown Vancouver.

Another family visit and another good meal. Children's menu was limited, so our boys split an entre which worked well! Lovely atmosphere and good service. Food was fine but not exceptional. Highlight was sitting on the terrace watching the sunset!

The food was average fare. We had fish and chips, the beef burger, and crab and halibut cake burger. The fries were nice. The Caesar salad with the crab burger was limp. Nothing special. The view was nice though. Great place if you stopping for a beer and snacks. Just okay for lunch.

Prices here are hard to digest

This restaurant has a great dockside patio and view, but you will pay well for it. Hamburgers are $19.00 on the menu and if you want a hot dog it will set you back $16.00. The view is great, service was fine and food was average. Lots of other good options on Granville Island will be easier to digest.

Bridges Pub Disappointing

Overpriced for quality of foods and portion size; service = 'scattered' (inattentive, forgetful and whipped plates away before everyone at table finished). Not Vancouver's best face for tourists (or locals). The entrees in the Food Court in Granville Market looked better.

Great view, mediocre food

View is great. Food was average at best. We got the Shrimp and Halibut ceviche($16) and Halibut Fish and Chips($25). Ceviche was ok but chips tasted stale. Fish and chips came with only one piece of fish, about 6 inches by 4 inches in size and some fries. Fish was dried out and tasteless.

Beautiful view

The weather was gorgeous and the view was lovely. Service was friendly. We shared nachos which were huge, but nothing special ($25), and several were over-baked. My husband's fish and chips were delicious, but overpriced.

Excellent

We got a table with a view without a reservation (although I'm sure that was just by luck), Our server Brian was second to non and the food was even better!! The view is awesome and on nice days they can open the wall of windows to create a grand patio feel.

We didn't eat a meal here, but just stopped in for some ice cream. It was good (worth stopping in) and a nice afternoon treat! If the weather is nice, sit outside and you will have a nice view of the water.

I enjoyed a wonderful lunch here while on a recent visit to Vancouver. The setting on Granville Island is spectacular. The service was excellent. I had probably the best burger I've had in quite a while - cooked perfectly.

My wife and I joined 3 friends for lunch. The staff was friendly and the service was very good. The best part was our fish tacos, probably the best fish tacos we can remember. We have enjoyed lunch here before and it was very good as well. This visit was even better in all respects.

A "must" for the visitor

For the visitor to Vancouver, this is not to be missed. Nothing much better on a warm, sunny day than sitting outside here with a plate of food and a glass or two of something cold, watching the boats pass by. Not cheap but not horribly expensive either; and certainly worth it.

Got off the ferry and had a quick bite before hitting the market. Great seafood burgers and (one) beer. The sort of place where two beers are too many and three are not enough. Wimbleton on the big screen if you like that sort of thing. I could have stayed all afternoon but shopping awaited me.

My family sat outside on the deck, and because it was a bit chilly outside next to the water so they turned on over head space heaters for us, which worked fantastic.
