This place is a bit pricey, but not really expensive. You get to stay right iin the heart of Banff in a rustic style log hotel which is clean, bright and friendly. A great choice for accommodation in Banff.
I would recommend the Brewster's Mountain Lodge not only because of the location but the staff!!! All of them are very helpful most specially the Front Desk Staff. Very Knowledgeable, pleasant and perfect customer service. And the breakfast crew, thank you. You did not disappoint!
Around the lodge you will not go hungry, pubs, restaurants, a supermarket nearby. The trails...

This was our second time to stay here. The rooms are comfortable and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is convenient for walking around town. This very homely hotel in the centre of Banff was a great place to park our bodies overnight and just relax after a long drive. Close to shopping streets and eateries abound nearby. Room was clean and airy and well kept during our stay.
It has one of the best location in banff. Very downtown and close to all shops and eateries yet extremely quiet, has a mountain woody theme which us nice and staff very helpful.
Breakfast is average though.

Stayed here over the weekend with my girlfriend who treated me to a weekend in Banff. Since we are a bit older, we appreciated the comfortable beds and the convenient location. The hotel was extremely warm all night long stifling. There was a mildew, moldy smell in the hallways that gave me a headache. The beds were so hard it was like sleeping on the ground and the tub had mildew around the enclosure. I would not stay there again if it was free.
The location was great, and the rustic look of the furniture was the main reason we chose the hotel.

It was very hot in our room at night, but if we had the window open to cool off; we could hear the club music from across the ally. With that said, the view of the alleyway was disappointing also.
