The perfect Saturday night dining venue
A fun slightly upsscale smart casual place. Good variety on the menu, thought it's not that extensive. The ambience makes up for everything. A happening place on 17th Ave on a Saturday night. And, if any other night feels like a Saturday to ya, go there then also, cuz it's that good!
They've got it right but menu a bit weak
Nice location. Nice ambience. Nice tables. If you are looking for a great way to spend a Saturday evening dinner, this is the place. The menu could be fortified a bit, but the choices are still good. Ditto for the wine list.
great martinis
the martini drink list is really inspiring here, it's a wonderful experience. i have come here for drinks with the girls after work and it's always a fun way to end a day.

Our mains - the lamb shank and a calzone - were good but not fantastic. The shrimp salad that we had to open with was absolutely delicious. Service was great. Server recommended a very good bottle of wine and was very attentive.

Brava's food is delicious, the crispy chicken is my personal favourite. We noted on Opentable that my husband is on crutches and Brava was so accommodating--they made him very comfortable. Our server was just terrific, never missing a beat throughout the dinner. Brava offers an excellent dining experience.

Four of us went for lunch for my mother's birthday. The food was excellent, as always. There is something for everyone (we had the hamburger, spinach salad, pasta and beef short rib sandwich) and it is reasonably priced. Our server was very friendly and attentive and at the end of our lunch he brought my mom a warm gingerbread dessert with a candle. It was a nice gesture and very much appreciated.

April 30, 2010The food was great. I had the Beef Short Rib with Brocolli and Mac-N-Cheese. Awesome and the beef was so tender. You should think about getting a resevation; especially Thurs, Fri or Sat. Even seats at the bar get reserved. This was my first time and would come back again.
