Excellent bakery for daily needs
July 05, 2014This is a perfect little bakery to pick up baguettes, grainy bread, desserts, pate, jams, cookies etc. Sweet little bistro for lunch or dinner (Valentines was our occasion). Great service, delicious bistro meal and an essential stop on the way to the chalet. Summer or Winter. EVERYTHING is perfect.

A twin not in the twin cities, perfect

Who knows that there are two Owl's bread restaurants, one in Mansonville Québec, way in the countryside, but another equal one ( same owners, same delicacies ) in the middle of the city of Magog, a resort area for ski and sail next to Mount Orford and to the beautiful lake Memphremagog ?

breads to die for

Visiting mansonville in the canton de Potton, we stopped at the boulangerie epicerie fine restaurant. Although we did eat, I can observe the presentation of the dishes that look like a picture. We promised ourselves to go back for lunch another time. THE BREADS, WOW, ARE AWESOME.. We had the
CRANBERRY/WALNUT, the sourdough brioche. We have definitely to go back...

Floor bread
July 28, 2013I saw a loaf of bread fall on the floor and the lady in charge quickly placed it back up on the rack... I've had better croissants for the price. And the chef and owner are arrogant and rude. I would not support this business in any way again.

Lunch Heaven
November 01, 2012A great place to stop for lunch and pick up some great local cheese or bread or goodies. As an alternative you can grab some treats and walk down to the river for a picnic. Having been going there for years, never disappointed

Great food, always a memorable experience
August 31, 2012We had lunch at Owl's Bread today. Wonderful white vegetable soup, salad nicoise, and terraine of mousse. With out question one the truly extraordinary chefs in the townships. Just wish that dinner was still served. The best croissants, liver pate and smoked salmon I have ever had. We look forward to our trips here and savoring Owl's Bread and it's... more

bistro lunch
August 14, 2010We had a quick bistro lunch here. Dau. got the salad and I had the roast duck confit with potatoes browned in duckfat - yum! Had one of the local ales to accompany this. Desserts looked yum, but we didn't have time. Great service, dined on back deck. Lots of good breads and pastries to buy for take out.
