Just picked up a pizza for a late lunch before heading to golf. It was amazing! Everything looked great - that was our only experience.
Great product, especially the vienoisseries. This place is always packed with people and I now know why!
In the old Presbytere of the historic church this is a beautiful and delicious place for a break with tables on the deck overlooking the church and river, or on the spreading lawns. All the baked goods are fresh and delicious. The pizza's looked great, though we just wanted picnic food and bread for breakfast the next day.
Nothing special, regular bread and pizza. The cafe is cute with nice veranda but no on-site parking. You have to park in the church parking lot across the cafe.
Best croissant sandwiches ever! Cute Bakery on the Île d'Orléans! It has a great scenic view of the Laurentian River. Ordered a variety of delicious bakery items. All of items were a delight.
Stopped here for lunch.
We had the pesto pizza with olives and goat cheese and the croissant with ham and cheese.
Both were very good but I like the croissant just a little bit better than the pizza if I had to go back and eat one thing. :-)
Great find in the island.
There's also a little shop next...

So easy to park and walk across the street to this little bakery that faces the beautiful St. Lawrence River on the equally beautiful Island of Orleans. The minute you walk in, it feels like you're in France. There were so many varieties of bread and pastries, I didn't know where to look first. And then there's the pizza-- wow!... plus
Delicious coffee and pastries. Fresh autumn strawberries and raspberries made into fillings for the fresh baked treats. Sit on the patio with a lovely view of the Church and the river across the street
We chose this bakery for a light lunch based on TA reviews. We arrived around noon on a very rainy day. It's a small seating area and was busy. We ordered at the counter - Canadian pea soup, vegetable soup, ham & cheese croissaunt, and coffee - $16. Everything was delicious and the staff very friendly.
Great home-made breads, pastries and pizza as well as coffee. Great place to stop for lunch, sit outside and admire the view
We stopped by here for lunch while on the island and both of us had sandwiches which contained croissants instead of bread. The staff heated up the sandwiches so that they were very warm. It only took one bite to realize that that was one of the most delicious croissants that one has ever had. Was it ever good!!! We... plus
This is the best bakery on l'Ile d'Orléans. Great baguettes, pains au chocolat, pizza. Great ambience, friendly staff, great location.
Based on the other reviews I had read prior to leaving for l'ile d'Orleans, I expected the bread at this bakery to be very yummy, but I was disappointed. We had a baguette which was very chewy and did not have a crispy crust. It reminded me of regular grocery store baguette. We also had an apricotine, which was OK,... plus
What a sublime bakery! We stopped for a drink and a snack and ended up buying an armload of goodies to take home as well. We sat outside on the deck with our snacks. I had a chocolate-almond brioche that was so tender and wonderful, I figured I'd died and gone to heaven. And my hot chocolate was perfect: super-chocolatey,... plus
I just bought some bread but the place is nice and just across a lovely little church with a cemetery overlooking the St-Lawrence River. Staff was pleasant, facilities were neat, there were some customers enjoying their breakfast. It must be much more pleasant in the summer time.
We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch, the breads, Croissants, and pastries! A 'must' stop when you visit the island! The pea soup was delicious and the basil pizza was superb! It is impossible tonleave without taking some goodies for later enjoyment! The ladies are most helpful and English is happily accommodated as well! Enjoy!
With sweeping views over the Saint Laurent Rivière and the local historic church in Saint Jean, this is the perfect spot to stop, even if not hungry or thirsty - you will be as soon as you walk in! We enjoyed a basil pizza with chèvre, an apple danish, and a blueberry almond cake. The food was incredible, the staff... plus
As we were driving around Ile de Orleans we spotted the sign for La Boulange and decided we needed a break from driving. We were treated to some of the best croissant and pastries we had in Quebec, and the cafe aulait was rich and wonderfu also. This was just the little kind of country bakery we were hoping to... plus
A quaint bakery that is ever busy and serves amazing danish with local seasonal fruits. I highly recommend their savory cheese pizza, maple and walnut danish, raspberry or strawberry danish (whichever one is in season). I also enjoyed their very smooth hot chocolate! Great place to stop by if you are driving through the island.
