Great service and location. We went to visit friends near Sydney while they were having their kitchen renovated so we stayed at Borthwick Manor. The breakfasts were a delight, home cooked and fresh.

Lack of facilities - no coffee or tea making facilities, no TV, no hair drier.

Beautiful comfort

Susan and Mike are skilled, helpful and friendly hosts who made every effort to make us comfortable. We enjoyed the conversations, the fantastic breakfasts ( especially the famous coddled eggs), the view of the bay in stepping distance and the hot tub. The Tudor house and gardens take you to the English countryside without leaving Vancouver Island. It was a wonderful stay.

Not worth the money

Very convenient to airport but room was small with half window and no lock on the door. No TV in room.

Beautiful Hotel -- Location could be an issue

Loved the hotel, the rooms were great, and breakfast in the garden was lovely. We had a very busy schedule when we were at the hotel, so we rarely arrived back before 11 pm, the hotel is very close to the Victoria Airport, and at times in can be noisy.
