Charming find in downtown Hamilton! This was recommended to me by the Crowne Plaza & is my favorite restaurant I have tried in Hamilton so far.

Great menu, very knowledgable and enthusiastic staff, nice wine list. I tried the Mee Siam and it was delicious! Very flavourful. The cheese plate was also very good - interesting selection of cheeses.

I will definitely come back!

Best place to eat in the city. Really tough to find high quality places with great people. Disappointed so many times by many places but finally found our favourite place in the city

funky little restaurant. Everything ordered was superb. Staff very attentive but gave you lots of space and time between courses. From the crab cakes and scallop appetizers to the chicken and lamb mains to the cheesecake and creme bruelee desserts everything was delicious. Would go back in and heartbeat.....and we will be soon!!

Best beef tenderloin I have eaten anywhere-cooked to perfection and didn't need a knife. My husband ordered the roasted squash soup (delicious with some nice heat) and the halibut for his entree. Outstanding Meal

Scallops as an appetizer. Ancho beef for the main. Creme brulee for desert.
All in the food here was delicious and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants to try something just a little cut above in Hamilton. We loved the creme brulee so much we came back the next week just for coffee and desert.

4 of us recently went to Boo's Bistro in downtown Hamilton and enjoyed it very much. The service was friendly and professional, the menu was eclectic and the food was quite good and reasonably priced. I especially enjoyed the European ambiance and would go back again for either lunch or dinner.

Spent the morning in Hamilton so stopped by with my wife for a quick lunch bite at Boo's. Service was pleasant, quick and professional. Food was wonderful. I decided on vegetarian (not my usual choice) and was extremely pleased with my pasta. Nice, but brief, wine-by-the-glass list. The place has also been recently renovated.

Booked a table on a chilly night and got some chilly service.
3 of us ordered 3 different mains -just one Appetizer, the battered scallops were burnt on the outside and bouncy hard - sweet sauce drizzled over them did not enhance the flavour.

Expensive but worth every penny

Thai beef salad was an exquisite appetizer followed by supreme chicken, which was also outstanding. All four in our party thoroughly enjoyed our meals and would go back in a minute. Highly recommended.

there are some great dishes here, some great daily specials and Boo has a knack for being really creative and taking great care. But be careful about buying any wagjag coupons as they seem to just cut the portions down to take into account the coupon...as in a scallop appetizer consisting of 2 scallops for about ten bucks...wtf?

Wow all around

We simply avoid going down to "downtown" after work hours, but friends brought us here and we were all very surprised. The service, food, wine list and recommendations were all bang on. This Boo won't frighten you

We went with friends for dinner in September and all of us enjoyed our meals. Boo has great creativity in his cooking, lots of interesting taste combinations. The setting is nice and tasteful, attentive knowledgable servers, great food. It is not a very big restaurant so reservations are a good idea. Would recommend.

James Street South is lucky to have this little gem. We've had just about everything on the menu, and its very well rounded. There's a great wine selection and the atmosphere is unique and romantic. The staff is very warm and genuine, just the right amount of interaction. This is a perfect place for a first date if you're looking to impress. Try the Spicy Ancho beef.

Sort of an asian fusion type place in a way. Went her for a staff luncheon, and was happy with the food. It was a set menu which blows, due to the lack of choices. I had the sesame beef and mango stilton salad along with creme brulee to finish. Very quaint, and intimate place with good quality food. Hard to find kind of, but no complaints.
