Went for lunch with a friend last week. Ordered salt and pepper wings which hit the spot then ordered the Bonzos burger and onion rings as a meal. They changed the burger bun to a cheese bun which I didnt care for but loved the side...never mentioned not liking the burger but the waitress noticed I picked it over and took it off my bill! Completely unecessary but they love to keep people happy.... more
I really like going to Bonzo's. It's a casual atmosphere with friendly service and lots of food! I find they have bigger portions of food and awesome wings. I don't drink a lot when I go there but they do make a good caesar!
Excellent fish n chips! Hugh order. Wings not bad either!
This place is close by so I visit every so often with other scout leaders or soccer dad's. While it's not a bad pub, it's not a great place to go for great beer. Other than Guiness and Hoegaarden, they don't really have anything that qualifies as craft on tap, oh ya, and don't drink their house brewed beers. They used to be okay when they first opened up about 20 years ago, but now they're... more
One of my favourite places to go for a few drinks and great pub food!
Has to be the most expensive beer in town at nearly $8/pint for many domestics name brand beers.
Probably the best wings in Regina (I personally love their nachos) with a huge selection of sauces and at a great price. Often the payoff is horrendously slow service. My friends and I still find ourselves here despite the service.
I went to Bonzzini's on a Wednesday night, there were few customers and plenty of staff present. I counted 4 different wait staff. I sat at the bar along with two other couples. after 5 minutes I had not been greeted, been given a beverage or menu. Five more minutes, same thing. The other couples at the bar were having the same experience. We sat waiting while the wait staff milled about... more
Excellent pub style food at decent prices! We will definitely return!
I have gone to this pub for years now and the food quantity is top notch. BEST VALUE for your money. I agree with an earlier comment. Seems like most of the time, the service is polite and prompt, then every once in awhile, they have a girl working there that is a complete b@!%h and hates her job. Otherwise, decent atmosphere, good food and drinks. Enjoy
Been here a lot of times...love their honey garlic wings, they have a very large appetizer platter.
I have lived in Regina almost all my life, yet only went to Bonzzini's for the first time a couple of months ago. I really like the atmosphere, and the food and beer selection is great too.
This place has been around for a long time after the old Crock and Block restaurant closed (how's that for going back decades?). I'm not much of a beer drinker but I've been here the odd time over the years for a pint and some pub food. Always had good service and good food.
I have never once had a bad meal at Bonzzini's. It is blocks from my house, so it is a common spot for my Wife and I. The food is always great and there is a good variety in the menu for a pub.
A great place to grab some drinks and have a good time. The food is great too!
We come from Weyburn, but heard of it and finally had the time to go, and it was our anniversary... my wife called and though they didn't normally take reservations, we walked in and there was a table with our names on it... Staff was great, food was perfect, drinks of course were awesome, but the prices were the best part, very affordable. Recommed it highly if you are looking for a casual but... more
This place has been around a long time - I hadn't really thought of going for a number of years but wow - once I went back I realized what I was missing. Starting off - this is a brew pub, it's not fine dinning - that being said, they have a fine menu of sandwiches, burgers and pub favorites - all can be accompanied by their "lager" chips. I find a place lives or dies by their burgers and the... more
I was cracked for id after I ordered a diet coke and it was 5 in the afternoon!!! I walked out.
I have tried this place a couple times and have generally found it lacking in quality beer. Both times I found the beer to have distinct off flavours. The variety is limited and it has not very imaginative.
The staff have been friendly but had a limited knowledge of their product. Bonzzini's is part of a local chain of brewpubs. Saskatchewan liquor laws allow for brewpubs to have private...
