Went there on my wife's birthday someone referred us ... we all love the food ... we are from delhi, India and we were looking for some resturant where we can find the same taste like back home, this is the resturant where we find exact same test even better.. 5 stars for the place... more
If your'e ok with c@!%!y service and damn fine Indian food, then Bombay Bhel on 10 is the place for you.
If you don't mind feeling like you're inconveniencing the staff by placing your order, asking for water refills and your bill coupled with mouth watering biryani, then head on over.
Went with my gal and mom for a late...

My husband and I were in Mississauga for a conference and were looking for something to satisfy our taste buds . We stumbled across this restaurant where we found delicious samosas... The pastry was nice and thin and the filling of potatoes, peas and spices was thick! Soooo yummy!
I've been here many times, it's pretty much the same everytime, awesome food but generally very unattentive servers.
Butter chicken is mind blowingly good, more than makes up for the fact that you pretty much only see the server when you make your order. Because of this, I rarely tip much more than a few bucks (and I generally over...

The food for that price is not worth it . The butter chicken was very sweet and tasted nothing like a proper butter chicken. The tandoori chicken were dry. We also tried their sheekh kabab which were better than the rest. The only thing that tasted nice was the papri chaat. we will go back for their cold appetizers only... more
Ate veggie samosa, goat curry with roti, salt lassi and chai. Everything perfectly spiced and presented. Staff were very friendly. Enjoyed my meal immensely, and hope to return with friends who appreciate an authentic taste of India.
We've been to this location a couple of times. I find the service to be extremely slow, bordering on disinterest.
The menu reads well, has all the standard Indian fare on it, nothing overly interesting or innovative. We stuck to the standards Butter Chicken, Biryani Rice, a Rogan Josh, Naan....
everything was fine. Nothing was great. It took a long...

My sister's husband is from India, and I learned what real Indian food was all about from his mother, who is a great cook. For the last 25 years, every Indian restaurant I eat at is measured by that yardstick, and most fall waaaaaaaay short. well, Bombay Bhel doesn't! Some of the best food I've had that wasn't home made.... more
Two of my friends & I went Saturday night. We were blown away! Prior to going here, our fave Indian restaurant was Guru in Niagara Falls. I don't think I'll be making the trek to Niagara anymore. The food at Bombay Bhel was awesome, the service (thanks Raj!!) was spot on, & the prices were so reasonable, we thought they... more
Had dinner with a co-worker and found the food to be very tasty and reasonably priced. Will definitely return.
Everything about Bombay Bhel is amazing - from the food to the excellent service and every other little detail in between. Me and my family have been going to this restaurant for many years and the food have always been consistent. I have personally recommended and taken many friends to the restaurant and every special occasion is celebrated there now... more
Food quality and customer service was good. Indian curries taste was OK.
Great atmosphere inside but for some reason they kept room temperature was too cold.
Still recommend for people who likes to taste Indian food but not for people who knows what authentic Indian curries taste.
The flavours were spectacular. Each distinct and nicely presented. Great assortment of meats and veggie dishes.
My wife and I, together with our two children, have dined for about the last eight years at this great restaurant. The owner and servers are very attentive and courteous, even if sometimes you have forgotten to make a reservation. As soon as you walk in, your mouth beings to water because of the delicious aromas emanating from the dining... more
I had the vegetarian Thali, and although I found some of the dishes on the platter to be a bit spicy for my taste ( I prefer mildly spiced food and they did tone it down at my request) I quite enjoyed the meal and found the portions to be more than ample. The wait staff were helpful, very pleasant... more
My wife and I had dinner and found the food to be OK, at best. My chicken tikka was a bit overcooked (at least for my liking). My wife's eggplant entre was overpowering with onions. The butter chicken was bland. The service was far less than I expected. I felt like the server was doing us a favour by taking... more
We ate here and food was delicious. Chaat, Butter Chicken, Vidhloo Chicken was good. Naan was little bit cold and hard.Ordered aalu paratha which showed up as paratha and was bland and hardly had any aalu (potato) in it.
From the Hotel list of restaurants we chanced to Bombhel............... great food,
the servers were very polite, helpful...................huge amounts of food for the price,
we had a assorted platter................ I asked if the sauces were spicy, and was told not too
much, and asked for HOT sauce, he said, hot HOT................
The other server was surprised we finished off half...

We went to this place craving for authentic Indian chaat. As opposed to their name they hardly have anything to offer in chaat section. I have tried a restaurant with the same name in Brampton before but came to know they have nothing in common but name. Needless to say this is one more of typical Indian business rivalaries of... more
We ate here a couple of weeks ago. Very delicious food and great service. We love Indian food and have been looking for a great Indian restaurant in Mississauga. We've found it. We'll be back.
Warm and inviting atmosphere; very clean. Many vegetarian options. Everything was delicious; also good portions. Will definately come back!
Bombhay Bhel has been pretty consistent in greatness! Your food comes out pretty quickly, and the service is good. It's pretty tasty and (I would say) of a higher quality and taste too. The atmosphere is always nice, busy but not TOO busy and noisy... Each time I've gone this place has hit the spot ;) As for how 'authentic'... more
Bombay Bhel is average or slightly below. I have had too many wonderful experiences in classy Indian restaurants throughout the GTA, Brampton, and Mississauga, and Bombay Bhel definitely does not make the list. The food is unimaginative with lazy shortcuts. For example, chicken biryani which is a slow cooked delicacy of meat, rice, spices and nuts (if authentic and made... more
not the best but not the worse either. however, i use to be a professional chef myself and the food is not upto scratch for a resturant as well established as bhel. Its more like dhaal that you sick mother makes at home which is fine and tasty but not one you'd want to be paying so much for which... more
I've been to Bombay Bhel many a time with girlfriends for a yummy and inexpensive (for the amount we order it is not over priced at all) indian food.
The sagg paneer is yummy. I order it EVERY time I go. We usually get a few different dishes and split them and then take our leftovers home for lunch the...

The waiters completely forgot about our orders and we had to ask more than once! The food was so horrible and disgusting! No one in my family liked it and we will never go there ever again. I hope no one else goes there too.
We have been going to Bombay Bhel for many years. When we are back in town in the GTA, we always make sure to work Bombay Bhel into our plans.
We have tried many of the dishes they offer and they are amazing every time. The mango lassis are dreamy. The chicken Korma is my favorite. The naan is too...

I love to visit retaurants. Last christmas i was in Canada ad was already missing home made food. One of my friend suggested that we should try out Bombay bhel. I really feel that it was a good decision that we took because i can still remember the taste of the indian food there. I felt very much at home.... more
While living in Mississauga this restaurant quickly became my favorite! The Aloo Gobi and Eggplant dish (Bangan Burta??) is the best! A tad pricey but for me it was worth it.
food is delicious but service is the worse i've ever had. they're rude and forgetful and... it stops me from eating there. i've tried 3 times with same results. too bad!
Super big portion, good stuff.
Really good indian food. Well prepared. Tried almost everything but my favourite is their butter chicken. If your planning to go for dinner show up early theres always a long wait.
