Great breakfast, comfortable bed. Sofa bed not so comfortable. Breakfasts were amazing. Loved the location.
This is a nice B&B with 3 guest rooms. Suzan provided a fantastic full breakfast each morning. Free parking within walking distance of the falls and all of the commercial activities, yet in a quieter neighborhood made this a great option for us. The neighborhood, while safe, was not up to the standard of Suzan's place but was not a problem for us. A common sitting area for reading would be a... more
Breakfast was good. Outside maintenace was non-existant. Owner appeared for breakfast but was not available otherwise. TV was out of date and reception went in and out .
The description on this B&B states that the units contain: CD players, coffee/tea makers, DVD players, microwaves and refrigerators. This is not true, although there is a microwave and fridge available in the common kitchen. This did not affect our visit, but we think that the description should be updated. Great breakfast, very friendly hostess, great location close to Rainbow Bridge.
Stayed overnight for a conference. Lovely experience, beautiful bath and vanity made getting ready for the conference calming and enjoyable. Owner is a really nice woman who went out of her way to make us comfortable and feel at home. Great location for all amenities.
Breakfast was fantastic, very close to all amenities including the casino and falls.
We stayed only 1 night and enjoyed the experience. Breakfast was great - gluten free pancakes were a delight! Definitely would recommend and would return.
It was nice and the jacuzzi was fun, but there was NO one there to greet us when we arrived and it was a very small bedroom. The bathroom was the nicest thing about the suite. the TV was old and didn't get very good reception. Breakfast was delicious. Just strange, with no one there to greet us it kinda felt like we were squatting in someones home. The owner only came out to deliver breakfast... more
This bed and breakfast was extremely convenient to the strip and the Falls. It only takes 10 minutes to walk to the falls, and it will save you money on public parking ($5-$15 near the falls). There is no need to drive to any of the attractions. Location was EXCELLENT. Breakfast was very good (eggs, bacon, toast, yogurt, and fresh fruit, either pancakes, French toast, or waffles, O.J., coffee)... more
Only stayed for one night but the place was very comfortable and very clean. The host is very sweet and personable. She treated us like family since the moment we walked through the door. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The place is located within walking distance of everything you'd want to see and it's in a very quiet neighborhood. Would absolutely stay there again and highly recommend... more
The Good: The best asset of this B & B is its proximity to the falls without being in the busy commercial district where the majority of the hotels are located. The building is only three blocks from the American Falls and is within walking distance to all the main attractions. Also it is set in a nice neighborhood that is much quieter than the hustle and bustle ever where else. Susan was very... more
do not let the lack of curb appeal scare you away. It is an awesome B&b.
Susan was very helpful with local information. She was very accomidating , and met all our breakfast needs. If I were going back to Niagara Falls, Bluecrest would be our home of choice.
In staying at Bluecrest, we felt like we were staying with a great friend. Susan took great care of us and the bed and breakfast was clean and comfortable. The only downside was the size of the standard room (we saw the other rooms are they are much bigger). We would stay here again. PS If you are flying into Buffalo it is an $85 taxi ride to the Bluecrest
We had a wonderful stay and Susan was a great host. This B&B was comfortable, homey, and the room we stayed in had a nice size bathroom with a large jacuzzi tub, and a separate shower. And the location was ideal. It was close to the Falls attractions with a reasonable walking distance. We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely return to the Bleucrest B&B.
I loved staying here. This B&B was close enough for us to walk to most of the attractions and had a place for us to park our car without having to pay extra. The main Niagara attractions were about 3/4 of a mile along the river walk. At night, you could just walk to the end of the street and see the falls lit up. You should know that the BB does not have the verandas off the front now. They... more
Friendly and accommodating staff. Beautiful room with many amenities. Location is quiet, yet convenient to the falls, and other prime attractions.
The bluecrest was really nice. The only thing is that there is no balcony on the outside of the room as pictured in the picture. There is a security code that you must input in order to get into the inn after hours. This is great. The microwave is in the kitchen and you can use it also you can make tea if you wish. There is a fridge in the room. The jetted tub was great it can fit two people.... more
Susan was a friendly host. Hot cooked breakfast each morninb. Wifi can be spotty depending on location. First night it took a little time for the central AC to cool things down since our room was huge and had the most sun. You can walk to everything so you just need to get to the B&B
My boyfriend and I decided to go for a long weekend to Niagara Falls. Neither of us had stayed at a bed and breakfast prior to this trip, however, we decided to go this route after reading the good reviews of this place. We loved our stay and the lady who owns/runs this place is awesome! She was hospitable, sweet and made a great breakfast for us. My boyfriend travels for work and wanted to get... more
I decided to book our one night trip to Niagara Falls through a Bed and Breakfast instead of the large chain hotel; boy, was I right! The Bluecrest is a wonderful B&B! The room we stayed in, the Phillipsburg Room, was simply perfect. It was large, accomodating, huge "washroom" with two person jet tub. The fireplace worked flawlessly, as did the cable. The location of the Bluecrest is simply... more
We had a great experience at this Bed and Breakfast. The jacuzzi in our room was fantastic and Suzane made a great breakfast.
Very quiet (SAFE!) neighnourhood within 1 km of great falls view and beautiful walk to the falls. Couldn't stay for the breakfast, but room was amazing & perfect for our needs.
The room was extremely small...10 ft x 10 ft. Not even enough room to put our suitcases; thank goodness we just had overnight bags. There was barely enough room to walk around the bed. The Hotels.com site told us we would have a jet (spa) bathtub and a coffee pot....we had neither. The owner does not live on the property so when we arrived there was just a note on the door to go ahead and enter... more
The bedrooms are keyed alike so all guests have access to the rooms of other guests. The security code for entry to the building was in a note taped to the front door. The host is only at the property for breakfast and no information on the (very limited) facilities of the B&B were available until the morning after we arrived. For example, the phone in our room turned out to be an intercom only... more
Great location for walking to the falls. The phillipsburg suite was good, large comfortable bed and large tub with plenty of hot water. This is a low tech b&b with no wifi and older tv. Great for us looking for that but not for everyone. Breakfast was fresh and good.
B&B was one of the few with vacancies over Labor Day. Good price, great location near the falls, quiet. Breakfast was good, host was very friendly and accommodating. Only room left was with a double bed, which was a little cozy for two and it got hot at night. Access was easy and parking free.
My wife and I enjoyed this B&B, and we would definitely stay here again. It was small, comfortable and homey. We felt like we were staying in a home. The breakfast was a full breakfast with pancakes, eggs, bacon, toast, fresh fruit, tea and coffee. The location was close enough to the falls that we only had to walk 5 minutes to get within sight of them, but far enough away from the "commercial"... more
I was expecting the place to look like the picture and it was not. There was no verenda to sit out on and the place lacked the warm that I would have expected in a bed and breakfast. We saw many other places that had verendas so we were disappointed in that. We had no where to sit at night to enjoy the nice weather. We had a nice breakfast with lots of food which was good. The place was old... more
The outside of the house could use some minor upgrades. Susan upgraded our room which was a really nice surprise. We had a minor issue with our hot tub and she came out very early Friday morning to help which was so nice. Breakfast was good and Susan's knowledge of the area and friendliness really made our stay worthwhile. Location is 5-6 blocks from the Falls Tourist area so it is nice and... more
Susan was very accomidating; very clean room the A/C was not able to keep up, a little warm upstairs, breakfast was very good great location to niagra falls.
This was a great place to stay in Niagara Falls. Free parking and walking distance to all the major attractions. The room was very nice and the bathroom was exceptional with its own jacuzzi tub. The best aspect though was the hospitality of the owners. The breakfast was wonderful as well. We would stay again in an instant if in Niagara Falls again.
Being our first experience at staying at a Bed and Breakfast we weren't sure what to expect. So the fact that the ower and I played phone tag was a little strange even after I returned a call within a few mins. of her calling me. Then when we arived there was a note on te door giving us the code tio unlock the door so we could get in. Again a little strange but... There was no one around but on... more
We enjoyed being able to walk to everything in the Niagara Falls area. Saved us a boatload of money in parking. Even with an evening of poor weather the hot tub built for two provided a cozy escape.
This is home away from home. Loved it!
This was a great first experience for us staying at a Bed & Breakfast. The house was very nice and the updates were excellent. Really enjoyed the fireplace in the room and the spa tub. The furnishings made for a great atmosphere. It was very quite which made for great sleeping and the owner was very accommodating. The breakfast was very tasty and plentiful.
We were looking for a good rate, close enough to walk to the casino, with free parking and we found it all here -- along with a wonderful breakfast. Thank you for everything Suzan! We had a great stay and enjoyed talking with you!
This is a great B&B! Good for couples. The location is perfect, it's only about 5 - 10 minutes to walk to the main strip. About a 5-minute walk to the American Falls. Room was clean and very spacious (with jetted tub). Suzan is very friendly and a great cook! Our breakfast was delicious with fresh orange juice and coffee. Eggs made to order, bacon and pancakes (waffles the next day).
Owners very friendly. Great breakfast. Facilities very clean and near the falls, Casino and entertainment strip. Room was very small but price was right.
This was our first experience at a B & B, and our third trip to Niagara Falls. It seems that every time we come to this area, it is a memorable experience. This was no exception. The location couldn't have been more convenient. The B & B is actually located on a residential street, but is a five minute walk to all the action at Niagara Falls. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a large... more
This B&B was clean and comfortable and very friendly. It was an easy 10 minute walk to the Falls and economical when you consider that breakfast and parking are included in the price of the stay. Breakfast was scheduled for 9-10 am, which I thought was pretty late, but when I came downstairs at about 8:15 ready to take a walk first, Susan was ready to serve me. Breakfast time seems to be... more
We enjoyed our stay at the Bluecrest - the room was comfortable and the huge bathroom was a plus. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious - we couldn't eat everything! It was a short walk to the main tourist areas. Our hosts were very friendly and accomodating.
If you're looking for a great host, cook and accommodations just minutes from the falls, look no further!
Stayed in a suite with a jacuzzi. The room was large, very clean, and quiet. The breakfast was good and they served plenty of food. The owner is very nice and all staff were helpful in getting us settled. The B&B is in walking distance to restaurants and the Falls. During our stay the temps were high and the room was warm but not overly uncomfortable. Overall we had a pleasant stay and would... more
I knew I had to stay here when EVERY review I saw gave this B & B 5 out of 5. They were right! The room and the breakfast was amazing, it was perfect location for seeing everything, and Suzan was an absolute doll. Would definitely recommend this place and/ or stay here again!
The Bluecrest is a very welcoming little bed and breakfast with wonderful rooms (especially the bathroom - 2 person Jacuzzi!), a very charming air, and excellent breakfast (special recipe french toast). It is also within walking distance of several restaurants, the main downtown area of Niagara Falls, and the Falls themselves. The owner, Susan, was very friendly and helpful, even with a very... more
Bluecrest Bed & Breakfast was great. We loved our room with the jacuzzi, it was walking distance to the falls and all the tourist attractions. Its an easy drive to the wineries while being right across Rainbow bridge. Breakfast was nice and everyone was very friendly. I would stay here again and recommend it to everyone!
