Friendly and helpful

We were very pleased with this family run hotel. Clean, conveniently located with nice continental breakfast. Our hostess gave us excellent suggestions as to what to see and do in Niagara Falls. This facility is old and could use more electric outlets to allow charging of phones and tablets.

A Great Stay; Wonderful Hosts

We had a great stay at the Blue Moon. Whether it was Doris' helpful advice, or her patience with us as we extended reservations twice, it was a great stay. The bus to the tourist attractions is right out front; the amenities, incl. the pool. and gas grill are fabulous for when you're tired of playing tourist. Not having to think about breakfast is also a plus!!

Nicest Motel I've ever stayed at!

Very clean, bit of a musty smell but that cleared very soon after getting some air flow through the room. We had a kitchenette - well stocked and clean. Would stay here again, good bang for your buck!

Quaint retreat

Home away from home - close to conveniences, resturants, sites & entertainment.

Economical and safe, but not the most modern

Our stay was pleasant. The staff were polite but a little curt when re-lighting the gas heater. Location was convenient to local tourist attractions and stores.

Very nice staff. Safe overall feeling. Very dirty tile floor, and bathroom, very old furniture. Not quite a bargain and far from the falls.

Smoke and mirrors

We were in town for a local half-iron triathlon. The room was reasonable for the price, but was dated and characteristic of "Niagara Falls kitsch" including lots of mirrors in the room. Welcoming

A real nice place with very helpful owner. The hotel is very clean and welcoming. The pool is not on the road and has trees and shades, very nice. And there are tables with barbecue. Everything for a great stay.

Cozy and quiet

Pleasing to the eye, with a wonderful and helpful staff. Rooms were clean, a little small but it suited my needs perfectly. Bed was a little to hard for me, but I like soft things lol.

The owner has been very useful to provide a lot of information about niagara falls. The location (main boulevard, wego stop bus, grocery store) and the pool is perfect. Picnic and pool areas provide a lovely oasis

We were quite pleased with this motel. The owners were friendly and helpful with directions. The room was small (expected) but clean and tidy. It wasn't fancy but suited our needs perfectly for our 2-night stay.

Cute old style hotel

Great retro hotel. Well maintained and the owners are delightful. The pool was nice and it was great to have several grills to use to cook dinner. Our room was small. With 2 beds and 4 people, there was little room to move around or store stuff. The rooms had queen sized beds rather than full like other places which is great. I would definitely stay here again and recommend for families.

Great budget hotel

Rooms were small but clean. BBQs and pool allows your own pool party. About 15 minute drive from the main attractions at Niagara Falls. I would come back.

Peaceful retreat

Excellent place to stay! Small, clean, affordable motel. Continental breakfast and pool are a bonus. The sites are not within walking distance but we purchased the WeGo bus pass so we didn't have to drive in the chaos. We will be back!

Management goes the extra mile

We did find the bed rather squeaky, but comfortable and no real problem. Being an old property, the room was quite small. But the woman who owns and mainly runs the place was so friendly and helpful. She's a big fan of her area and convinced us to make the effort to do a sunset drive up to Niagara-on-the-Lake which was very much worth it.

This hotel is very dated! I would guess 40 years since any type of updating (except for the flooring). Location was good, value was OK , being on the WEGO bus route was a bonus. Continental breakfast was very basic. Overall, it was probably average for the older motels of the area.

Poor motel

First, we went to check in and were told our reservation was cancelled. After showing or expedia confirmation and the verification email, miraculously it was a mistake. The tub was very old had no cold water the bed was ok also older. If your looking for very small and cozy this is the place.

Friendly, homey, good value

The motel itself is older and furnishings are dated, but the friendly service, clean room, and complimentary breakfast make this an excellent value. It is right on the city bus line, so location is convenient. We would stay here again on our next visit.

My stay in Niagara was wonderful and the Blue Moon Motel was a pleasant surprise. I didn't know what to expect, but they were great, the room was great, they went out of their way to help.

Great for the price - fantastic hotel owner

The hotel owner was friendly, helpful and really awesome. It's definately no 5 star hotel, but the jacuzzi suite was inexpensive, fun, and comfortable. would stay there again.

This motel is cute with lots of character. Rooms are small but they're only there for you to sleep in. Had no issues with any of the rooms or staff. Great staff, very friendly. I forgot my two pillows after I checked out, came back the next morning and they had put them aside without me asking them to. This was a cozy, clean, and quiet establishment. I was greeted by a very nice lady upon checking in for my stay (1 night). She was very helpful and eager to please. I was in a bit of a rush so I sort of rushed our transaction but she was very, very nice. The room was clean which appears to be a difficult find in the Lundy's Lane area. I am definitely going to recommend this place to my friends.

What a hidden gem!

Went to Niagara for New Years, but didn't want to pay waaaay too much for a fancy hotel. Blue Moon was perfect, just a few miles away from the falls, with the bus stop right out the front door and it only costing $7 for 24 hours it was a steal! Very clean and quiet. Best value for money. Grocery store less than 1 min, pizza, breakfast places, gas stations and huge outlets plaza 2-3 min away. Had room w/ kitchen, pans, pots, cutlery, cups ext. Any way over all excellent place for people who doesn't care spent big budget for sleeping and like to spent on attraction. This motel is WAY better than other places in the area for similar prices.

Quick check-in and check-out with no complications. My room was quiet as requested. The continental breakfast was simple but quite adequate. I was informed at check-in that the telephone in my room would be repaired. I never used it but I did check before I left, and it had been repaired. My tourist questions were answered knowledgably.

Vraiment très propre et très bon accueil. Très bien situé, il y a un arrêt d'autobus WEGO juste devant le motel. Belle piscine car il y a des vignes partout ce qui crée un effet d'intimité. Vraiment un très bon rapport qualité prix. Nous avions la cuisinette, mais avec la chaleur, nous avons utilisé un des BBQ extérieurs.

The owner is absolutely delightful!! She takes care of everything you need (we checked-in after 11:30 pm and she waited for us). The property is maintained with a lot of care and pride. Freindly welcome, I left my phone in the room and every effort was made to contact me to let me know it was safe. they then kept it secure for when I returneded. The continental brekfast was a very nice touch and the beds very comfy. I will recomend it highly.
