Great service
August 04, 2014We originally reserved a tandem bike but decided last minute to switch to two separate mountain bikes instead. They were super accommodating and took excellent care of us (maps, directions, etc...) even when the store was super busy. The bikes rode like a dream. We had a great time. Unpleasant experience
August 04, 2014We had an amazing time at Prince Edward County. The only bad experience was at the bike shop. Besides giving us old bikes, the owners were very rude and not helpful. It seems as they try to take advantage of visitors because there is no other bike shop around.

Excellent Rental Service

The staff were friendly and helpful with booking the rental bike and suggesting a route. The equipment was well maintained and comfortable. They also provide a drop-off service for the bikes and a support van if you get stuck, neither of which we needed but nice to know is there.
Highly recommended.

Attentative, skilled service
May 20, 2014Bike repairs, seat sales, clothing, rentals ... All done with skill & care. If it is not right, Katy & Rick & the crew are not interested in selling it. Dedicated cyclers, they know the area, lead tours and can advise you on value for money establishments in the county.

Called to see if this outfit could repair a rear wheel bearing/hub from a vintage Ralleye Ambush and was immediately told by the woman answering the phone that I had no idea what the problem was because I wasn't a bike mechanic.
She went to say that because the bike (which she has never seen) is likely an unmaintained piece...

Great service, great value, great bikes & a great alternative to organized wine tours

This past May long weekend a group of seven of us rented a cottage in Bloomfield. We had initially looked into a few of the organized wine tour options (which ran about 100-135$/person for about a 6 hour tour). Instead, we decided to each rent a bike through Bloomfield bicycle company and we were extremely glad we did.

Once, when friends left their bikes at Jackson's Schoolhouse expecting rainy weather..she insisted on lending, not renting, bikes and helmets..no deposits, just encourage ENT to enjoy the County!

Local bikes with attitude
June 18, 2012We stopped in and rented out a couple of bikes to tour on. Derek was really helpful and set us up with everything we needed. Their store is well stocked with Everything! They have a very real attitude and great humour. I hope to get back and take a week rental someday soon!

Why aren't all bike shops like this
June 12, 2011We were riding our bikes around Prince Edward County enjoying the wineries and the beaches. One of our bikes had some issues and we ended up at the Bloomfield Bicycle Company. They weren't able to fix our bike right away but gave us a loaner bike and sent us back out. We came back at the end of the day... more
