This is the Blenz that is literally beside the entrance to the ferry gate (to buy your tickets @ Horseshoe Bay). There is limited seating, the place is narrow and there is always a line up out the door since the idea of a good beverage inside the boat does not exist. I met up with some other peps in line who were also on their way to Courtney. It was cool talking to locals and sharing our love... more
We stopped here for our morning coffee and got the frozen Americana, that was super strong and did get you going. We also got an iced Belgium Chocolate coffee that was like drinking a milk shake but gave you the energy boost as coffee does. It was the best chocolate coffee we have ever had, it out shined Star Bucks.... more
We stopped in for a quick snack and a coffee, and as usual, the coffee was excellent. The cinnamon bun and scones that we had were stale and crusty. They had to be at least a day old. This was at 9:30 am . I can understand that late in the evening some baked goods may be showing there age,... more
After and evening walk to the steam clock in Vancouver, we decided to stop in Blenz and have a blended wonderful something before returning to our hotel. (Pan Pacific) I wish I knew the name of it! It honestly was delicious. It tasted like a frozen, RICH, hot (but it was cold) chocolate. My husband and I shared and I... more
Funny thing about tea, same price but different cup sizes.
Sat outside and it was cold but the tea stayed warm for a long time.
Friendly fast service.
Place seemed a little aged but was clean.
Good wifi.
Always had great quick service and very nice tasting coffee here. Friendly staff. A good stop before you get on the boat.
Stopped at a Blenz to get an evening sweet treat. I had the iced mocha which was delicious, but SO sweet and rich. I asked for skim milk, but it tasted way too creamy for skim. I couldn't finish it all, it was just too rich. Like drinking melted chocolate over ice. We had a large order, so it is... more
they have real leaf tea with a special tea bag. it was exceptional especially for a chain style outlet. you need to try this.
We had dark hot chocolate and white hot chocolate-- delicious. and pastries. It was open when most places in Horse Shoe Bay were closed. We could look at the bay and gorgeous view while we sat at the counter at the window. It was a little cold inside and really cold outside. The staff was nice.
The coffee was too strong for my liking, I like my coffee mild. This was strong and the sandwich was slathered in sauce. I would have liked a little less sauce . It was comfortable as most coffee shops are, would not return alone.
