Just as good as Starbucks if not better. Offers many different drinks from teas, coffees even smoothie. The chocolate chip cookie taste home made. The ice cafe drinks were excellent. We went to two different ones, one seemed more family ish like a cafe a b d the other was a fast pace coffee shop. The only thing is they both could... more
We went to the one at 1615 Robson Street and the one near to the Post Office.
Both times the coffee was fine, especially for a chain. Good cinnamon bun too.
I have tried this coffee shop twice, in order to give it a second chance. Well, it was the same thing. The only positive is that the server seemed "fairly pleasant". The food is not cheap - $2.25 for a cookie which elsewhere would be $1.25 max. The lemon loaf was dry and very bitter. The venue is very small... more
While waiting at the ferry terminal,we walked over to Blenz for a coffee and a muffin. After cutting her BLUEBERRY lemon muffin in half, my daughter brought it back to the counter thinking they made a mistake because we couldn't see any blueberries, she was told that they forgot to put in the blueberries that day. Why didn't they just call... more
Male server tried to first shortchange from a fifty for obe large reg blend... then decided to shortchange two dollars... accused me of pocketing the change and wanted to see what pocket I stole the money too. After arguing rudely for three minutes I finally told him I would not argue and to give me back my 50. Only then... more
It doesn't matter how good your beverage is when the bathroom is disgusting!!!!! I was recently visiting Vancouver with my sister and stopped at this Blenz for refreshments. The bathroom was GROSS. Can you believe there was NO COVER ON THE TOILET TANK!; there were no paper towels; the floor was dirty and littered with paper debris; the key to... more
Vancouver is not a morning town, you bunch of stoner slackers. I was taking an epic public transit/bicycle jaunt to a fish hatchery way the heck out past Maple Ridge for an environmental work project where I had to arrive by 9:45 a.m. on Sunday. Stupid me; when I caught a Canada Line monorail out where I live at 6:20 a.m. I figured the rest of the system would be running too. Little did I know... more
We ordered Iced Cafe Mochas and it was devine. Pricey but good coffee. Rich and chocolatty Belgian Chocolate. yumm
I consider myself to be a bit of a hot chocolate snob as I don't care for coffee, and theirs was one of the best I've had. My husband loved their mocha as well and we came back several mornings for our drinks.
It was okay, but I would have looked for a Starbucks nearby. Not the quality nor the selection. Almost an old school coffee shop, as in we serve coffee, without the second cup being free.
This Canadian franchise is only available in BC. So during our Vancouver trip, we went to this place many times... Really good cappuccino. We didn't tried their breakfast or other food. But coffee is very good quality.
Now, I know you might want something other than a mocha and its my standard fare and I find that it gets screwed up a good percentage of the time. I tried a mocha at two Blenz Coffee houses in Vancouver and they've got it right. We also asked for a tea with steamed milk and they got that right... more
We ate breakfast here twice on our trip to Vancouver (the only reason that we returned was because of their yogurt/berry parfait). The young woman who served us had a terrible attitude, and was unfriendly. When my coffee turned out to be lukewarm, and I asked her to microwave it (pretty bad for a coffee shop!), she did, and it... more
We had been on our feet for hours it seemed, and we were ready to sit down and have a refreshment. There is literally a coffee house of some sort on every other street corner in Vancouver. We chose the Blenz coffee and were very pleased with the iced coffee they made for us. The barista suggested we might prefer... more
The service was less than welcoming thought they were quick and the latte was poorly made and tasted as much as well.
We do not have this "coffee chain" in our city, nor had I ever heard of it, until our recent trip to Vancouver. Our hotel on Robson was literally 40 steps away from this fantastic Coffee shop!! I could NOT believe that you get a "real fresh" cup every time you order. No Carafes here - that little coffee press... more
I have been to many coffee shops and this one is very very likely ranked at the bottom bottom of the list. Reasons being:
Some of the best coffee in Vancouver, but I think they're used to a small range of requests, because something out of the ordinary can sometimes result in a coffee wildly different from the one you ordered. Still, the staff were unfailingly polity and helpful.
I had come from the UK to Vancouver for 2 weeks and could easily live off the white Hot Choccie for the rest of my LIFE!
I was devastated going home thinking I wouldn't be trying the white hot chocolate again until one of my family members told me that you sold the bag of hot chocolate.
I managed to...

Remembering the amazing hot chocolates on freezing days in Paris...thought I would give Blenz a try...
This chain is not in the US, and on our visit to Vancouver, it is apparent that it is the Starbucks/Coffee Bean of Canada!
To state it plainly....there was no disappointment that day in Yaletown.....The cup was filled with the most rich, delectable ,...

This is for the location at Hastings and Richards in downtown Vancouver. Coffee tasted burnt. We also ordered a Rooibos Latte, and were given a Chai Latte. They said they cannot make a Rooibos Latte, they tried to say Chai doesn't have caffeine in it, then they refused to give us a refund for the incorrect drink. And they overcharged... more
The title of my review sounds negative but it's really not. I was happy to come across another chain other than Starbucks. The cool thing is their green tea latte. You can get it sweetened or non-sweetend. I haven't seen that before so we tried it. In the photos, the darker green cup in the back is the non-sweetened one.... more
The free wifi and caramel maple machiatto keep me coming back to this place.
Great latte! I will definitely be back... just as soon as they start building them in USA!
They use special chocolate, and it was worth it. Pricey for everyday, but this was a treat! Coffee Mixology at it's best....Wish I had one close to home. Much better than Starbucks - but I don't like the burnt Starbucks trademark ( though their new blonde is tasty). Free Wifi:)
They use real belgian chocolate in their mochas and hot chocolate. Pricey, like all chain espresso places, but a nice splurge on something better than equally expensive Starbucks.
A friendly coffee house with a surprisingly good tea selection, including both hot and iced drinks. The matcha (green tea) latte is terrific (hot on a cold day, iced on a hot day).
Blenz was our 'go-to' spot for breakfast during our recent trip to Vancouver. The espresso, cafe mocha, and lattes were prepared with great coffee, heated perfectly and delicious. Blenz bills itself as Canada's coffee and makes a point of its quality beans. No burnt taste here.
The baristas made a point of doing beautiful 'latte art' each morning, which I...

Missed my order (of two drinks) and made mine wrong :-(
I always fhid this location dirty/messy. Mayve because it's busy and they can't keep up. Drinks are the same as at other Blenz but the atmosphere is sub-par
