The Okanagan is filled with Ma & Pa motels. For $50/night, I got a huge double room with fridge, nuker, coffee maker, tv. All the appliances/decor are from the sixties and seventies, so it's kind of cool in an uncool sort of way. The owners live on site and are friendly enough. It is very close to downtown and handy for the Okanagan Fest-of-Ale, which is the reason I was in town. It has a pool.
Love this place
It's kind of ridiculous.... cinder block walls and very very dated decor - but it adds to the charm.
I've stayed here twice. The place has.. character. Shabby Chic minus the chic. But it's central, less than 10 minute walk to the beach/strip, and it's really well priced. There's a group of us that go up every year and it's a great time.

Clean motel with a small but well-maintained pool, large room sizes and some nice if older extras, like mini fridge in the room and a large microwave. The location is very close to the lake and tubing channel, in walking distance to many restaurants and a tennis court as well.
