Banana Bread
August 10, 2014Love their banana bread! Was just at Sandy Mcnabb campground and we stocked up on our fav banana bread for this trip and our next trip (since we won't be close to black diamond next time). The ladies behind the counter aren't very friendly, but we have tried a few items and all were delicious. But definitely get the banana... more

Lovely place to stop

We went through black diamond on the way to Waterton and stopped for brunch at the Black diamond bakery. Check the menu on the table before you order, we were just ordering from the specials board.
Portions were a good size and great value. We were served by a very friendly lady and everything was cooked fresh and didn't take...

Great Products Subpar Service

Been going to this bakery for about 20 years now. Was though town after a long hiatus, and we decided to stop for some baked goods.
Once inside we noticed the specials and decided to stay for lunch. I had the Monte Cristo sandwich with cream of tomato soup, my cohort had the grilled ham and cheese with sweet potato...

Very Friendly Place
September 08, 2013Very local eatery. We were camping and the weather turned rainy, we didn't want to get soaked so we headed down the street to the Black Diamond Bakery. Home cooked breakfast at a reasonable price. Food was good and the bakery stuff looked like I needed some to take along for lunch but I resisted and probably saved a few... more

Bakery dive - maybe worth the drive out from Calgary

If you are driving through Black Diamond, this really is worth the stop (it might even be worth the trip on its own). The bakery specialties like butterhorns are outstanding (ask them if they will toast the butterhorn for you before you eat it). Excellent gingersnaps and other cookies as well.
