Had dinner last night at the bistro before attending the amazing Johnny Cash show. I had the salmon tartare which lack flavor. The gratinée escargots with fromage de chèvre was really good. The breakfasts were excellent . Everything on the plates were fresh and not frozen. Nothing done in the Micro-Wave. The idea of getting a smoothie in a shot glass was interesting. The service was excellent and never felt rushed to finish. A very pleasant experience

Disappointing. I had expectations from a 'French restaurant' to have decent food. Side dish vegetables were frozen over boiled carrots, over cooked green beans and white mushrooms. Very good restaurant - Very good value - Bring your own wine

We really enjoy that restaurant and we have been there more than once. They offers pastas, mussels, salmon, steak, veal etc.... Desserts are also very good.
Every meal we tried was excellent and it is also a "Bring your own wine restaurant". Very good restaurant in Saint-Sauveur, laurentians region.

This was recommended to us by the host where we stayed.

Went here for our anniversary. Best to make reservations as it fills up. I had the bison (stew) it was tasty and a large portion that I couldn't possibly finish. Bistro blew us away! Awesome food

This resto had some of the best food we've had in a long time. Ate here with another couple and the four of us all ate something different and we raved about it. Love the BYOWine and there was no corkage fee so for my wife and I having had appys, and dinner the bill was only $67 with taxes.... plus

Good French food in a nice atmosphere

The Bistro St-Sauveur is a nice place to try a variety of French dishes. We had deer and boar, both very nicely done, with starters of salmon tartare and snails. The latter were a bit too oily, but other than that, we had no complaints. And a very tasty Queen Elizabeth cake to end the meal!

Average food, Byob but still average

Not sure why the entry for this restaurant is not just Bistro St. Sauveur. And why the name is followed by Enr.? This restaurant is not to be confused with Restaurant St. Sauveur which is on the same side of the rue Principale but on the corner with rue de la Gare. Loved it

The best escargots we've ever had. I had fish, it was super. I had creme brulée, again fantastic. The only dish that wasn't it's best was the boar. It was tough but tasty. The service by the owner was terrific. And BTW it's a BYOW. Less than $80 fot 2 people. A must on your next visit to St. Sauveur.

A nice BYOB restaurant in the heart of the village

Had an ok experience at the Bistro in St-Sauveur. The boar was fantastic but the salad was something you'd expect at a school cafeteria and the crème brûlée was just ok. Good thing I had brought very good wine! As with all restaurants in St-Sauveur, you should definitely make reservations... plus

The restaurant was full (possibly because we can bring our own wine); customers were packed closely together, ruling out intimate dining… The service was friendly if not efficient: we were not asked if the meals were OK, nor if we wanted a dessert or coffee. A large group of colleagues and I went to the Bistro last night and enjoyed a fantastic meal. The server was lovely, nice, informed us immediately of the changes to the menu and in regards to payment methods, although that was included in the menu.

What a great place

Food and service were amazing. Great French cuisine and the restaurant allows you to bring your own wine that it's always a great bonus.

Like all the bars on the popular streets of St-Sauveur, it is way too expensive for the quality of food, which is mainly fast-food. Service is not very good either. There IS a nice terrasse though, but way too much biker noise in the summer.
