Wow, What Service
June 07, 2014We stayed overnight after flight in to catch Royal Caribbean Cruise for Alaska the following morning. Easy Sky Rail trip from Air Port, convenient with luggage, right at rail stop. Big Rockin' It on the Island
August 26, 2013We stayed 2 nights at the Big Rock Motel and found it was a gem in the rough. The room was spacious and clean. The rates are half the price (or less) than the hotels/motels right in Campbell River .. this little gem is about 5 or 10 minutes south. August 22, 2013I stayed one night in the Big Rock Motel. The stuff was friendly. The room and especially the bathroom were spacious and clean. The Motel is on the busy ocean drive route and there is a lot of traffic noise during the day. In the evening and during the night, the traffic calms down and it gets quiet.

very clean and extremely reasonably priced
July 02, 2013We found this place to be very clean and extremely reasonably priced! Located across the old highway from a park and the ocean. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles...for a good sleep while you are on the road it's a good find.

Affordable and convenient
April 19, 2012Discovered this motel on the old Island Highway at the south end coming into Campbell River. Rates were great (in March at least) - they seemed to cater to the younger diving and water sport crowd. Facility is a bit rough around the edges - but that seems to give it character.
