Excellent, just excellent

Outstanding Bieres and a varied menu, at all a great price. Service was outstanding. Food was outstanding, large portions, well prepared and extremely tastey. Wound up eating there several times. If you like mussels (their specialty) then this place is a must. If you like biere, this place is a must. Don't miss out on this gem of Montreal.

Another good find

We wandered in late one afternoon feeling tired and hungry and certainly found ourselves in just the right place. I think it's a big old bank, has a great feel for a pub. The list of drinks is extensive and our menu choice of ostrich burgers was excellent. Service was delightful. A definite return to spot.

From Sunday to Wednesday, you can have all-you-can-eat mussels...and they are good. Great beer selection as well. I've always had a waitress who knew what to recommend.

The beer list is great and the atmosphere is very relaxed compared to the rest of the area.  We got a few burgers that were really interesting.  Caribou burger was decent and the ostrich with goat cheese was great!  They know how to make an awesome french fry and the best part was that they were topped with sweet potatoes chips that were really delicious.  Definitely check this place out!

Yum. Have been twice on 2 visits to Montreal. Not at all touristy, plenty of tables at lunchtime. Beer list is all in French but on second visit our server recommended a local Montreal beer Coup de Grisou which was a buckwheat spicy beer that become our favorite. I had a pint of beer and a small bowl of fries here, while waiting for a friend. Nice ambiance, good micro brew beer. Sweet potato fries comes with selection of mayonnaise, nice.
