Nice hotel close to shopping

Great place to stay! pool was great! our room was very clean. we will be going back:) The staff was very friendly and didn't hesitate to offer up places to see and go in the city.

Hotel in North York

It was a beautiful time. I was in Toronto for a few days and this hotel was fantastic in terms of their service. Cleanliness, friendliness of the front desk staff, the close proximity to the bar and grill, everything. Location was not at all an issue. It's not located within the hustle and bustle of downtown and that is a refreshing thing.

Handy to Wonderland

Good location near the 400, 407, Vaughan Mills and Wonderland.

Room didn't have a chair as pictured and the Heating/Cooling system did not seem to be working. Kept running even though it was turned off. It is convenient and has a nice fridge and good coffee

Easy access to transportation and downtown.

This was a great experience. Staff was helpful, friendly and extremely courteous. Pool and spa were immaculate and warm. Staff gave us good directions for bus and subway connections. Rooms were updated and cleaning staff very friendly and kept us stocked with towels and the room clean. Nice hotel close to York University

I was looking for a comfortable place to stay at a good rate, and this was perfect. The staff were very friendly, the bed was comfortable and the room was quite nice.

Nice location, but no amentities to my liking

I feel that this hotel lacked amentities. The spa was nice, but I would have enjoyed a swimming pool and a hot tub or a gym to go to during my stay. And the fact that I had to pay for parking on top of the cost of the hotel room and also had to pay for wifi during my company stay was a huge dissappointment. Decent Hotel very busy location

I would recommend this hotel again. For the money it was a good deal. Very clean and comfortable lodging. Not the Hotel's fault but the construction made it very hard to get around at times. One of the Hotel staff have me bad information regarding the subway. Spent over an hour going to the wrong location. If the staff doesn't know then say so, don't make things up.

Fine, not more

It was good, but not that much. The paint of the ceilling was chiped, the mattress wasn't comfortable at all. The soap was a wall self-service bottle, my bad I forget mine, but still. The floor around the toilet wasnt clean. I don't think I will come back in a best western. Basically, it was ok, for one night.

Needed to learn the public transportation system

Used buses and subway system. Not difficult and people helpful.Very busy city with plenty to see and experience. Unable to get flim festival tickets.

pleasantly surprised. Bathroom could have better lighting but nice fridge, micro wave and coffee maker. Perfect for what I need travelling twice a month.

Great hotel with clean, comfortable rooms

I recently stayed at this hotel while my son played in a hockey tournament. The room was very clean and the hotel staff was very friendly. We were extremely happy with the quality of the hotel for the very low price we paid using Expedia.

Overall a decent hotel

Fan in the bathroom didn't work so the room would get quite steamy when showering. Other than that the room conditions were good. Restaurant has limited options for people with gluten issues, and therefore meant a lot more dining outside for dinners and breakfasts than I would have liked.

fire alarm went off at 0445hrs, went outside to front of building and waited, after about 15-20 mins people started heading back in, my only comment would be "hotel staff should have come outside to announce an ALL CLEAR", that would have been a clear message that we could return to our room safely

Comfortable rooms

I stayed for 3 nights for a work trip and enjoyed my stay. The beds were quite comfortable, and the room had everything that we needed. The pool facilities looked good but I didn't have a chance to use them. The surrounding neighbourhood was a little rough but we felt safe inside the hotel. Hotel was conveniently situated and was quiet.

Hotel staff were helpful and the rooms were clean. Discount at restaurant was good - menu was mediocre but reasonable. It was quiet at night and we had no issues with noise. We would stay again.

Lovely hotel.

The hotel itself was wonderful. Staff was excellent and very accommodating. The attached restaurant however only received a conditional pass on their last inspection and the bathrooms had the same urine dried on the whole time. I would suggest eating elsewhere. But the hotel itself was superb and would stay there again.

Nice hotel with reasonable price.

It could have been a perfect 5 if not for the limited gym equipment. I workout so gym is a must for me when I travel. Unlike the hotels I stayed before, this hotel's gym doesn't have weights.

Nice location to Canadas Wonderland and shopping

The room looked fabulous but it was so damp. I have never been in a room that felt so damp. We had the A/C on but no extremely high, our clothes felt damp and things would not dry in the 2 days we were there. Carpet was wet in front of fridge, maybe someone before us had spilt so etching, not sure. There was mood growing on the floor against the tv/ dresser cabinet probably from dampness.

Everything was very nice. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. I only have a few minor criticisms. 1. They only left 2 towels for 3 people daily. We had to request more towels every day at the front desk. 2. The hot tub was a murky yellow color. We did not go in. 3. We went to the attached restaurant for breakfast one day. Adequate lodging in a culturally diverse area

Great variety of food nearby. Staff are friendly, pleasant. First room wreaked of smoke even tho no smoking room. Got new room with a smile and "sorry". Water pressure was a problem. Three calls to the front desk and two visits by maintenance gave some improvement, but still not great.

where was the breakfast i paid for?!!!

I was sold a room with a breakfast. Paid a little extra for the breakfast. Found out they didn't have serve a breakfast. Very disappointing. Overall, the room was nice. But next time will not book with expedia if they are selling room rates that include things that you don't actually get.

Nice hotel close to the Roger's Cup, easy access

Great experience with hotel staff, cleaning was good overall and the room service was great. Great pool and hottub. Only problem was service at the restaurant on 2nd morning (Friday).

Wonderland

Hotel was close to Wonderland. Room was ok. Bed was ok. Pillows were too soft. Pool was way too hot. I was told I could a parking pass to Wonderland but none were available when we were ready to go. I guess I should have bought as soon as we checked in.. Snooze you lose.

The hotel is in a great location for a Canada's Wonderland escape. However, it is in a shady location as I learned while I was there from my brother. There is a police station right next door though... The hotel is recently renovated and looks nice in the surface. However, the renovations are not of great quality. Close to York University

The hotel was fine for our purpose, which was to be close to York University. It was clean, and comfortable and the staff was very courteous. It met our needs. (Since there is nothing to do/see within walking distance of the hotel, and we would not choose it if our purpose was to experience the cultural, culinary, and shopping that Toronto has to offer.)

The hotel staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, however the surrounding area near the hotel was either highly industrial or really run down. The hotel was overrun by "young adults" who were attending an outdoor rock concert and were rather noisy upon their return. Great place to stay for Rogers Cup!

This was a great hotel for our weekend stay during the Rogers Cup tennis tournament. The stadium was a short five minute easy drive away. Traffic in Toronto is always horrible, but this was easy! The hotel staff here was the friendliest we have had in quite some time, and when we went into Toronto to see the sites, they gave us lots of good tips to avoid costs and hassle.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at your hotel . My only complaint is the service in the restaurant - I am an elderly person, yet no one seated me, or came over to ask whether I needed breakfast . The service at dinner the night before was excellent, but the breakfast servers were not up to par.

nice hotel, close enough to Rexall centre.

we chose this hotel as we wanted to be close to the rexall centre to go to the Rogers cup so with an approx. 40 minute walk, it was a good choice.

This hotel was just fine for our needs. The Perkins restuarant connected to the hotel was very handy. Location of the hotel is good-right on highway. Desk staff were efficient and accomodating.

I would definitely recommend it to others. I was very happy with the room, the indoor pool was amazingly refreshing, everything was tidy and clean. Definitely worth it. And the Perkins restaurant attached has the best breakfast!

Hairy Hotel

The sheets, and 4 pillows had hair ALL OVER THEM. Which means the sheets were not changed. When I asked them to change them the front desk attendant was saying " don't worry they are clean". We would return to stay at the Travelodge Toronto North.

I would recommend it to others, although it is a little behind on maintenance. Needs a bit of a spruce-up. It was good value for money and our exzpectations were met.
