I arrived in the evening for a business trip. The staff were friendly, rooms were nice and the bed was comfy. I found the complimentary breakfast was heavy on the breads & cereals. Overnight stay

We had to visit Peterborough for a funeral. The funeral home had a link to the Best Western. I had stayed there before, so recommended it to others. No one was disappointed. The complimentary full breakfast is such an added bonus. The grounds are nice, the location perfect, the staff very accommodating. I would stay there again.

Always my first choice

I travel often for business and always look forward to my 'home away from home'. The staff is always friendly, the rooms are always exceptionally clean and comfortable and the stay is always enjoyable.

Great location close to downtown. Nice room on ground floor with private deck overlooking river and manicured lawn. Pool was very ice and hot tub too. Tasty breakfast included. Very quiet at night for sleeping. Staff welcoming on arrival. Allowed us to take our bicycles to the room.

Have been here before and not disappointed this time. Room was spotless, very nice bathroom with glass doors (convenient). Very quiet place to stay. Grounds nicely cared for. Personnel couldn't have been nicer. Breakfast on real dishes and not styrofoam! Eggs only disappointment.

Our room was comfortable and clean. We had sliding doors onto a ground floor semi private deck which overlooked the river and nice lawn/garden area at the rear of the property. Great hotel. Best place to stay in Peterborough. All the rooms have a fridge and this hotel has small kitchettes in some rooms. Great pool, great staff. Only criticism is the breakfast has too few choice.

Our stay was everything we had hoped for. We weren't able to have a room with view of river, as there is no elevator in that side building. But breakfast is served there, with tables on an outside deck as well. My only complaint, Room was charged to my credit card when I booked, not when we arrived. Was surprised at that. Would deal directly with hotel in future.

Needed a place to stay while attending ceremony. Was pleased by quiet space and nice view of a park area.

Nice Property

Nice park like setting, friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, great pool. Overall a nice place to stay. On the downside, the included breakfast was pretty disappointing and poor quality, without much selection. Would stay here again, but wouldn't waste time trying to scrounge up something edible in the morning.

Enjoyable

The breakfast was excellent but what we enjoyed the most was being right on the river. Looking out of our patio doors on sparkling, gently moving water was so relaxing and lovely. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub especially as we were the only ones using them.

Comfortable and Friendly

We arrived shortly after check in time. The front desk staff were great, made us feel welcome and they were oh so pleasant. The room was more than comfortable, the fridge was already cold, and the beds were comfortable. We would go back there again in a heartbeat. The saltwater pool was clean and just the right temperature.

Great people, breakfast, comfortable, needs update

Very friendly and helpful people at the front desk. Rooms need updating but everything was clean, beds were comfortable except the mattress sags a bit in the middle and sofa sags as well. I travel to Peterborough regularly to visit my niece and always stay at this hotel. The rooms are a good size and clean, the staff are always friendly and helpful. I enjoy having a fridge, microwave and coffee maker as well as a breakfast with hot options. The swimming pool is a bonus.

Not worth the price.

Although the hotel is well cleaned, you really don't get your bang for your buck. The rooms and bathrooms are small and the layout is very strange. The pictures posted for this establishment are deceptive and make you think it's worth paying over $120.00 per night. The location and view are nice. Too small and too expensive!

Unexpected peace and tranquility!

I expected a corporate-type experience when my daughter and I took a road trip to Peterborough but was really surprised that we had an idyllic verandah overlooking the peaceful river with entertaining ducks and a gopher. We spent time on the verandah both days. I could make tea in the microwave and the shower was "a blast". The neighbours were courteous but not invasive. The breakfast was spot on.

Overall, it was a clean and tidy room. It was close to the venue we were going to which was a key factor in picking a location.

Upon booking we asked for a smoking room to be told when we arrived that the 2 smoking rooms were booked. Only later did I realie they had a number of balconies. SO as you can guess we were disapointed that they did not mention this.
