Very short stay. It was everything we needed it to be
Wonderful parkland has been created where Lake Huron enters the St Clair river and in Sarnia following along the river. You can drive and park under the Blue Water bridge for magnificent views. Some locals were fishing The. River is an exquisite blue as was the sky and lake this Thanksgiving weekend. Easy access to the highway and the entrance to the international bridge. A very comfortable stay.
Comfortable and clean hotel very close to the border in Sarnia. Room had been refurbished, but bathroom was slightly dated. Make sure you turn off the provided alarm clock (got 6am surprise after arriving at midnight
The hotel was quite near the Bluewater Bridge and not far from the Downtown area. The room was clean and spacious! The staff were very welcoming and we would definately return here should we come back to Sarnia!
We used the facility while we took a couple of days to do some shopping at the outlet mall. The area is very nice and the Inn is very easy to access from the highway's. We used the pool and the hot tub and enjoyed the breakfast very much. Our stay was a wonderful time and we would recommend the
We at the best western in Sarnia since all of the hotels in Port Huron were full due to the Port Huron to Mackinaw Sale Boat Race. We were not sure what to expect, but it was a very nice older hotel that has been remodeled. The staff was wonderful and very helpful for getting around in a new place. We will stay there again.
Overall experience was positive. Nice continental breakfast served during the weekend in the very nice restaurant attached Staff was pleasant and very helpful when needed
The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The on site restaurant provided a good variety of tasty menu items that satisfied all our hungry travellers. Planning a return visit to Sarnia in the summer and will definitely book this site again.
Without asking, we were upgraded to a suite. Very comfortable. Outstanding restaurant attached (Shelley's). We will return.
We usually stay next door at the Holiday Inn, in Sarnia, but decided to try this one, mostly because of the included hot breakfast. On arriving, we were told breakfast is included on Sat/ Sun! We were then told we could buy the breakfast for 14.95 per person. I will be returning to the Holiday Inn next time.
This was a very good hotel close to main roads and shopping . Would stay again.
For the money, the room was perfectly adequate, although my bed seemed to have been poorly made. It is an older hotel which has been renovated. There are not elevators. Our car was dinged in the parking lot. Although the culprit didn't leave his name, the staff was very helpful. I'd stay here again.
This is a comfortable hotel, with comfortable, clean rooms.
very disappointed. the check in staff said I had a very nice room. "breakfast included" it wasn't "larger room with couch" it wasn't much bigger than the bed itself very disappointed that this was even considered a Best Western. I have stayed in nicer motels for far less money. very noisy room with fans or equipment running nearby all night dripping sound coming from bathroom all night bed was... more
Opportunity for great nights sleep.
Very nice linens, comfy bed, and nice breakfast. We would stay again.
The hotel met our expectations. The room would have been perfect except mom noticed peanuts & dustballs between her bed and the nightstands. The room attendant was very nice person to speak to but I think doing "spot checks" from a supervisor may help staff not to forget important areas that need attending to. The breakfast was quite nice but found the restaurant not so accomodating. The second... more

We were a bit disappointed that there was no included breakfast on Saturday, but the on-site restaurant had a good breakfast.
Have no compliants about hotel or Sarina. Enjoyed it all.
The hotel was very satisfactory for what I required ,I was looking for a good place to stay clean rooms and quiet this one more than filled the bill. The breakfast included was a nice feature and the breakfast served was more than adequate for my purposes. There are not a lot of things to do in Sarnia but the hotel was close to the casino (if interested0 and it was close enough to the park and... more
only bad thing walls are very thin I could hear everyone showering and all doors opening and closing..room was clean and great breakfast. But did not sleep well
The hotel is just step of the international bridge. You get more than you paid. Great location and very good service.
We feel that this Hotel is one of the nicest we have stayed in, in Ontario. The Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were excellent and the service great. Our room was SO comfortable and clean that we didn't want to leave!! Anything we needed was available in our room. The pool was well kept and an extra bonus in the heat. It is the first time we have stayed at this Hotel, but hope... more
We originally booked the Drawbridge Inn, but did not stay due to the pool being under maintenance. We were switched to the Best Western Plus and couldn't have been happier with it! Friendly staff, beautiful, clean room and a good breakfast the following morning. My sons enjoyed the outdoor pool a couple of times and we loved the location. We would definitely stay again...thanks Hotels.com for... more
Close to the highway, nice friendly staff with good bar and resturant.
Not the nicest. Downtown is a dump. Nice parks nearby.
this location has been thoroughly renovated. Comfortable rooms, right off the 402, friendly staff. I don't stay in Sarnia that often, but the next time I do, I'll stay here.
A great place. Have their card and will call them again.
The location and price were good. We needed a suite, and such rooms are hard to find in Sarnia.
\n\n
Our room was on the first floor and had a door to the inner hallway plus a door to the outside, so being alone with two little children, I didn't feel terribly safe. We also were at the back of the hotel. There is an inconsistency to the interior. The lobby looks very new, but the couch in...

Staff and facilities were fine. Just as one would expect. The breakfast at the restaurant was very good.
Checking in was quick and easy. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Ice machines were located far from the room. Two sections away, no signs or indications where it was located. Had to ask the front desk to get directions.
We were allowed an early check in. Friendly staff. Liked the restaurant attached to the Inn.

The smell of the carpet powder to clean the carpets.
Stayed for just one night with a friend as we were in town for a ladies volleyball tournament. Great value - the room was great, spacious, amenities were above par, they had a cool remote to help reduce germs. Friends at a suite and they were AMAZING!! Looks like the management really care and are updating the hotel.
Have stayed hear several times on business trips over the past year. Rooms are good size and quiet and cooked breakfast is thrown in with the room rate. WIFI is also free. Staff are friendly and its right off the motorway.
Have stayed here several times over the past several years( once for an extended stay of 3 months). Let me start with the staff- they have always been very courteous, friendly and helpful. The hotel- it's conveniently located near the Blue Water Bridge, close to the casino and also close to the downtown area. It has undergone renovations over the... more
This hotel has a staff to be commended. A young lady by the name of katie was truly exceptional to us. She spent over 2 hours to get our problem solved from the Comfort Inn. I loved the staff at this place. From giving me a very early check in ( thanks Doreen) to the special request for dinner and a fine, friendly start to the day with breakfast--- thanks to all. It may be a simple place but they perform well above expectations.
Stayed here overnight in January 2013- arrived late at night after a very long day. Have to admit that I didn't have very high expectations but was completely Surprised at how nice it was. I had a second floor room - no elevator so had to schlep my suitcase up the stairs grumbling all the way.... But the room (207)... more
Great hotel, nice and clean plus the upmost excellent service. The food and service in the restaurant and bar was awesome. Convenient location and the price is perfect.
The hotel met or exceeded almost all my expectations for its class and price. Extremely comfortable beds, clean rooms, good breakfast, convenient location, etc. The only negative was other guests at an event at the hotel - after 11pm and for a couple of hours, every 10 minutes or so, some guests would leave the event and head to their rooms, talking and laughing all the way. Thicker room doors... more
We did enjoy the hotel, the free breakfast was a bonus and was excellant, a very nice surpirse from just the regular self-serv buffet, nice treat, the room was clean and spacious enough for a 5 day stay.
good service, clean room with lots of space, comfortable bed, and the free breakfast was very good. I will stay there again if I am in the area
It looks much better than hotels on the north side of highway. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.
\n\n
Breakfast is much better than north side hotels have, but selection is still quite poor and I would prefer buffet style rather than be served. It is quicker and more convenient.
My husband and I stayed at the BW Guildwood Inn in Point Edward (Sarnia) for Friday, Nov. 9th

Very clean comfortable room, good value, would definitely return. Decent restaurant part of the hotel, convenient location, friendly staff and the "accessible" (handicapped) room was up to standard we expected and made our stay more pleasant for my wife.
Great stay for a great price. Clean , comfortable and quiet.
friendly staff; the whole place was clean, nicely decorated, very comfortable, fridge in each room, beds were perfect, lots of pillows of varying softness to choose from, gym, FREE HOT BREAKFAST included with the room - delicious. We'd definitely stay there again.
Adverstised as 1/2 mile to Casino.. it is far more than that at least 1.5 miles or too far to walk
I loved the pillows!! They were awesome. We stayed in the King Suite which had a seperate sitting/living room which was nice since you didn't have to sit on the bed to watch tv. The room seemed clean and they also provided nice robes.

Beds were comfortable, room was quiet. Breakfast in Shelly's restaurant was very good; good service.
Guildwood has updated recently the attached restaurant (Shelly's) and as always the beds and rooms are a delight to be in. though I believe the price is a bit inflated because of the near by casino. it is a well kept property and promised an enjoyable stay.
The staff were extremely helpful and the room was immaculate. The location was excellent , very close to the St Clair River allowing for some nice viewing of sale boats, the marina and the Casino.
\n\n
They would do well to have an indoor pool and a renovation of the outdoor pool. No indoor pool facility limits the enjoyment of the premises.
The service at the restaurant could have been alot better. They were slow coming to greet and take you to your seat. They would ask if you wanted coffee and they would give it to you, but had to wait til they came back and we had to ask for spoons, creamer and sugar.
It was quiet with a great pool and restaurant.ots of uPdates were obvious.
Staff was courteous, friendly and willing to go the extra mile. Free hot breakfast was delicious as is the supper selection (salads are huge and I recommend the roast chicken). Conference room was elegant and comfortable, again largely in part to the staff that decorated and kept the place clean and stocked. I've recommended that all future training sessions I have for Sarnia to be held here.
We decided to stay over in Sarnia at the last minute, driving from Chicago to Toronto. The service was very good and they gave us a free upgrade. The location was great to get on and off the highway. Clean, comfortable, excellent beds. We were very satisfied with the over night stay.
FIne, no problems, Great staff, nice room. The sink was a slow drain and the noise in hall was bothersome, but that happens lots of placesThe End
Stayed in a King Suite which we booked on Kayak.com for $99 a night. Wanted to stay two more nights, and they honoured that price at the front desk. Nice.

I was extremely satisfied with the level of service and the condition of the hotel. The only concern I had was the heating system. We were very pleased with our stay with one exception. The bed options are either a memory foam or very soft pillowtop. The hotel is under a Reno but pass that it was a fine stay. The rooms were average and you can tell that it is a old hotel ever after the fave lift. The front staff are great and ready to help.
Very disappointed with this hotel. It is very expensive for the accomodations you receive. No replacement towels were supplied when the room whas cleaned and the bathroom counter was not cleaned. It took quite an effort to get a TV remote that worked. Their position was," Are you sure you know how to use it?" A little insulting. The construction and tmporary Smitty's restaurant did not help either.
