Very short stay. It was everything we needed it to be

Great Location.

Wonderful parkland has been created where Lake Huron enters the St Clair river and in Sarnia following along the river. You can drive and park under the Blue Water bridge for magnificent views. Some locals were fishing The. River is an exquisite blue as was the sky and lake this Thanksgiving weekend. Easy access to the highway and the entrance to the international bridge. A very comfortable stay.

Clean,Comfortable, and Close to Border

Comfortable and clean hotel very close to the border in Sarnia. Room had been refurbished, but bathroom was slightly dated. Make sure you turn off the provided alarm clock (got 6am surprise after arriving at midnight

Handy to everything

The hotel was quite near the Bluewater Bridge and not far from the Downtown area. The room was clean and spacious! The staff were very welcoming and we would definately return here should we come back to Sarnia!

Get Away

We used the facility while we took a couple of days to do some shopping at the outlet mall. The area is very nice and the Inn is very easy to access from the highway's. We used the pool and the hot tub and enjoyed the breakfast very much. Our stay was a wonderful time and we would recommend the

Port Huron was full

We at the best western in Sarnia since all of the hotels in Port Huron were full due to the Port Huron to Mackinaw Sale Boat Race. We were not sure what to expect, but it was a very nice older hotel that has been remodeled. The staff was wonderful and very helpful for getting around in a new place. We will stay there again.

Location of the hotel was excellent

Overall experience was positive. Nice continental breakfast served during the weekend in the very nice restaurant attached Staff was pleasant and very helpful when needed

Family Visit

The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The on site restaurant provided a good variety of tasty menu items that satisfied all our hungry travellers. Planning a return visit to Sarnia in the summer and will definitely book this site again.

Best hospitality and comfort

Without asking, we were upgraded to a suite. Very comfortable. Outstanding restaurant attached (Shelley's). We will return.

Great stay

Room was a bit small. But clean.

We usually stay next door at the Holiday Inn, in Sarnia, but decided to try this one, mostly because of the included hot breakfast. On arriving, we were told breakfast is included on Sat/ Sun! We were then told we could buy the breakfast for 14.95 per person. I will be returning to the Holiday Inn next time.

Just what we needed

This was a very good hotel close to main roads and shopping . Would stay again.

Good, Not Great

For the money, the room was perfectly adequate, although my bed seemed to have been poorly made. It is an older hotel which has been renovated. There are not elevators. Our car was dinged in the parking lot. Although the culprit didn't leave his name, the staff was very helpful. I'd stay here again.

Loved it!

We originally booked the Drawbridge Inn, but did not stay due to the pool being under maintenance. We were switched to the Best Western Plus and couldn't have been happier with it! Pleasant Stay

Checking in was quick and easy. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Ice machines were located far from the room. Two sections away, no signs or indications where it was located. Had to ask the front desk to get directions.

Great Place

Stayed for just one night with a friend as we were in town for a ladies volleyball tournament. Great value - the room was great, spacious, amenities were above par, they had a cool remote to help reduce germs. Friends at a suite and they were AMAZING!! Looks like the management really care and are updating the hotel.

Good base and comfortable rooms

Have stayed hear several times on business trips over the past year. Rooms are good size and quiet and cooked breakfast is thrown in with the room rate. WIFI is also free. Staff are friendly and its right off the motorway.

The hotel met or exceeded almost all my expectations for its class and price. you get what you expect out of a night stay

Guildwood has updated recently the attached restaurant (Shelly's) and as always the beds and rooms are a delight to be in. though I believe the price is a bit inflated because of the near by casino. it is a well kept property and promised an enjoyable stay.

The staff were extremely helpful and the room was immaculate. The location was excellent , very close to the St Clair River allowing for some nice viewing of sale boats, the marina and the Casino.

They would do well to have an indoor pool and a renovation of the outdoor pool. No indoor pool facility limits the enjoyment of the premises.

The service at the restaurant could have been alot better. They were slow coming to greet and take you to your seat. They would ask if you wanted coffee and they would give it to you, but had to wait til they came back and we had to ask for spoons, creamer and sugar.

Great Staff, excellent experience

Staff was courteous, friendly and willing to go the extra mile. Free hot breakfast was delicious as is the supper selection (salads are huge and I recommend the roast chicken). Conference room was elegant and comfortable, again largely in part to the staff that decorated and kept the place clean and stocked. I've recommended that all future training sessions I have for Sarnia to be held here.

We decided to stay over in Sarnia at the last minute, driving from Chicago to Toronto. The service was very good and they gave us a free upgrade. The location was great to get on and off the highway. Clean, comfortable, excellent beds. We were very satisfied with the over night stay.

A very pleasant experience right from check in. Hotel Staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the free breakfast, although the service seemed slow. In all fairness, I was part of a large organization that was staying for the week and the restaurant was very busy at breakfast. I would stay here again should I find myself in Sarnia.

We visited Saria with our pet golden retriever. Room, personell, food were all excellent. Will stay there next time we visit. this is an excellent place for walking a dog.

There isn't much to complain about this hotel. The pillows were slightly too big and hard to lie on. The walls are also too thin as I was woken up early every morning by door slams. Perfectly adequate

The whole place looks a little "tired" but the room was spotless and the bed comfy. The price was very reasonable. Wouldn't be opposed to staying here again but would prefer a place that has a newer look and feel.

Average Hotel under Reno

The hotel is under a Reno but pass that it was a fine stay. The rooms were average and you can tell that it is a old hotel ever after the fave lift. The front staff are great and ready to help.

Very disappointed with this hotel. It is very expensive for the accomodations you receive. No replacement towels were supplied when the room whas cleaned and the bathroom counter was not cleaned. Really nice hotel, even though they are renovating

A very nice hotel....due to full house was upgraded to a suite.....very clean and nicely appointed for the money. Shower pressure is awesome!!!!! Restaurant is presently undergoing renovations, so the dining room is presently a converted banquet room. Very good front desk staff, very informative and efficient with directions and maps. We will definitely stay there again.

It took quite an effort to get a TV remote that worked. Their position was," Are you sure you know how to use it?" A little insulting. The construction and tmporary Smitty's restaurant did not help either.

The hotel is clean. The room was small. Front desk staff friendly and helpful. There was a definite problem with the heating/air in the room. Have stayed many times at this property and have always found it to be clean, bright and comfortable. The recently renovated lobby is beautiful. Really nicely done. Hotel is close to shopping and the casino and enjoyed the stay and play package that was offered. Enjoyed playing the slots with the free money. Made losing it easier to deal with.

Beautiful rooms

We stayed at the Best Western for the weekend and absolutely enjoyed it. The rooms had a wonderful decor and spic and span. Nice touch with the all white sheeting and colored throw. Nice staff, nice rooms, nice location

Easy access to the freeway. Very pleasant staff and the room was excellent. The pool looked good, but we didn't use it because there are no steps to get into it. The free breakfast was very good, but the restaurant is not very good for anything else. We would recommend this hotel.

I booked one of the suites which was not expensive although not in the main season. Felt like a new wing of the hotel.
