The room was clean, but really small. The bathroom was outdated, but again, clean and had a great shower head. My sister had a sucky check-in experience when they gave her a room that already had guests in it.
Elevators require card access, which didn't work too well (our cards also had difficulty opening room door).

Great place to stay in downtown Vancouver, as it is within walking distance of the shopping area, cinema, the subway stations and quality restaurants. We chose this Best Western Hotel because of reviews on Trip Advisor and AAA. The rooms are VERY spacious (we even had a view), and the location is great--near the Sky train station and the Yale District. There is a White Spot Restaurant on site for meals and bar service.

I recently stayed at the Best Western Plus in Downtown Vancouver for 5 nights. I had a great view, it was clean and quiet and the staff was very helpful. I had meetings at SFU and UBC and the location was great.

The staff were outstanding, the room was very clean and comfortable - also very quiet even with the elevator out the door. A great location with easy access to anywhere in Vancouver, their shuttle service was well managed to match our needs and having a white spot restaurant attached fitted our needs very well.

Great staff, good location, but on two occasions I checked in next to noisy neighbours and had to ask for another room. This was after a long day of travel. Not great. We checked in yesterday. Our room is newly renovated and quite large. New bathroom. Wifi in room is excellent, guest laundry is a bonus and generally, we like the place. Reception staff are very helpful and friendly. I would stay again and recommend to others.

Our room had ample space as we needed room room to access suitcases and have enough room to move around. Most hotels don't have this space. It also has laundry machines so if you plan ahead you don't have to take a lot of clothing.

Best' Western I have stayed at

One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in downtown Vancouver. Close to the Skytrain to the airport and shopping malls. I came down for a medical appointment and intend on using this hotel for subsequent appointments and possible family trips in the future.

And this one has a better area to pull over if you rented a car.

Perfect for the four of us!

I went with 3of my friends and the only thing we were worried about was being close to downtown and all the clubs and we were! Last Minute

We obtained these rooms at the last minute so the cost was probably higher than many people pay. The room was good, the restaurant in the bottom of the hotel was also good at least for breakfast.

Very clean, security conscious. Parking is difficult and confusing to locate -need signage. I'd stay here again.

I really don't think you should call yourself a pet-friendly hotel if you put guests on the 2nd floor by the heating and cooling system for the hotel -- at $120 per night, I expected more. Really.

Insult to injury is the $20 per day pet fee. :/

Yes, the room was large and clean with a kitchenette -- parking was ample, too... for $14.95 per day.

In short, I've paid less for better.

Convenient hotel

The hotel staff are very helpful and very nice. The room was a bit small, but we did not spend much time in the room.We very much enjoyed our short stay in Vancouver.

This was the perfect place to stay at!!! Right on the strip! Next to all the bars/clubs. Price was perfect. I was kind of skeptical from the outside, but inside is wonderful, clean and spacious. Don't hesitate, it was last minute for us so we didn't expect such great accommodations. =]

Great Location

Great location downtown. Close to restaurants and shopping. We had a wonderful vacation. The only drawback is that you have to pay for parking and you don't get breakfast included with your stay.

Good deal but some rude staff

I thought that overall, this experience was good. However, there were a couple of staff members who were up-itty and kind of rude to me and my guests. However, we were reimbursed for a mistake they made. I also did not like how they charge $20/night for a cot! Cool free shuttle service though and bikes to borrow!

Great for easy access to all things Vancouver

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.The hotel's location allowed us to access everything we wanted to see by walking.. Spent 3 nights at this hotel recently. The front desk service was very friendly. Coco and Sara (aka Chanel) were fabulous giving us food suggestions for our first night stay in Vancouver and just real fun girls. I wish they worked everyday. Nice and clean hotel

Was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Did the parking and breakfast package and was well worth it. The free bicycle rentals was a plus. Will definitely stay here again. Easy walk to the boat that takes you to Granville Island. Short walk to Yaletown or Davie Village.

Good location, reasonable price

Hotel staff really helpful. Even let us check in early and park the car, so we could explore Downtown. Room was comfortable, and roomy.Only problem was the huge construction site right next door fired up their heavy equipment, air compressors, rock drills and a stream of dirt haulers at 7:30 each morning. Great location, close to all the transit and bars. Great service too. We had an AC issue in the middle of the night and they quickly found us a new room and let us move.

Great stay, great price!

Very clean and affordable. Best hotel for the price in the area. Took advantage of all the public transportation. We bought the 10 pass booklet right across the street at the 7-11. Passes are good for buses, sky train, sea bus. Adjacent restaurant was very good and had reasonable prices. Hotel arranged free transportation to cruise port. Very friendly. Would stay there again.

Excellent location with parking and close to all forms of transportation. The front desk and staff go way out of their way to make sure you have a good stay. Not a high end Hotel but more than takes care of your needs while visiting Vancouver. Clean and cost effective.

Everything was great about the hotel except that teh internet connection in the lobby was very slow and sometimes didn't work at all.

The AC resets to 22C way too fast. I had to crank it down a couple times during the night.

It's a 40 dollar cab ride from the airport. But the hotel was great.

Desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was okay, not the best area of town, but not too bad. There is a strip joint across the street, but we walked to many areas and did not feel unsafe. It was well worth the money.
