This hotel is always my first pick for pleasure, business or medical. They have great staff and very accommodating. Rooms and the hotel is very clean. When we need to be at the IWK hospital with our son, they always try to give us a competitive rate. You feel like you are part of a family!

It needs new carpet and the shower curtain is about four inches too short so the bathroom floor gets flooded when you shower. I am sure the people below appreciate that. It had potential if it was upgraded. Certainly not worth the money.

Best Front Desk I've dealt with in a long time!

Sadly, I don't remember her name, but she was on duty both when we arrived on Saturday and when we left Sunday. She made our stay! Excellent customer service and definitely an asset to the hotel. Because of her, the next time I am in Halifax, I will return to this hotel.

What a lovely spot... so close to Lake Spectacle where I enjoyed a nice walk with my daughter. The hotel was very clean & our beds comfortable. The included buffet breakfast was delicious. No fancy frills but real dishes & utensils! The staff was friendly & helpful. The free Wi-Fi was really appreciated since we were far from home.

The check-in was seamless as well as the room provided was in good condition. The only disappointment in the room was the water pressure in the shower could have been better. Great location. Handy to everything. Well appointed. Clean and tidy everywhere. The only thing I would have to complain about would be that there was a t shirt wadded up and left on the floor behind the chair in the room. We left it there as we didn't want to touch it. We had stayed at this hotel last year for the same reason, shopping, and found it to be clean, friendly, and close to everything we wanted. We booked again this year based on last years stay. The pool is very small but my kids were the only ones in it so it was fine. Again, it was perfect for us. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Stay was good. Close to everything. Staff were friendly. Beds were not comfortable. First time ever getting a sore back at a hotel. Kids loved the pool. Hotel is slightly hidden and not well signed to find it. On our last day as we were checking around to make sure we were not missing anything found an empty bottle that was not a brand we drank under our bed.
