The Best Western Parkway Hotel is a newly renovated Richmond Hill, Ontario hotel offering luxurious amenities for the ideal getaway in Canada. Conveniently located off of Highways 404 and 407, the
My room number was in the 7000's but was in the basement. The room smelled stale. It was clean but very basic. Get what you pay for. We booked last minute and it was cheap
We were waken on numerous occasions by staff accessing the adjacent linen/storage room.
A tidy calm hotel with freindly stuff whom did their best to serve their guest with charming decoration.
I have good experiances with expedia always good price .
This was our return visit to this hotel. The last experience was acceptable with basic conditions. The first impression as we entered the room was the smell of stale smoking. As it was a cool night, we tried to turn on the heater but no heat came out, only the fan which was so noisy, sounded like an engine room. This persisted throughout the night and I, a very sound sleeper, woke up many times... more
We had a great time at the indoor and outdoor pools. The staff was great. The rooms were clean and comfortable.I recommend this hotel. There was nearby shopping. It was close to Canada's Wonderland. The price was right.
We took advantage of their Wonderland deal; stay one night, visit the park two days. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, even before we arrived as I had to change the date once. We picked up our tickets and they stored our luggage for us. We had a great day at Wonderland but got rained out just before closing.... more
We stayed here, great location, very clean, the staff is extremely helpful and polite, would recomend to anyone. The continental breakfast was good, however they also have a choice for a full breakfast at a cost, however they should include it in the price..... more
We've stayed here twice in the last year and are impressed with the maintenance of the place. It is a very old strip motel which has been upgraded to a comfortable stay. We recommend the odd numbered rooms as they overlook a well landscaped courtyard and the Sheraton next door. This is the quiet side of the hotel. Rooms are... more
This is not a Hotel but to us seems like a low grade Motel next to a decent Sheridan hotel. Pool and fitness is a shared facility with a low grade health club and Sheridan. On line pictures give a false impression of what you will see in real life. There are many hotels in surrounding area we would choose one... more
It was located to a quiet place, Tim Horton right beside the hotel. The room was clean. My son enjoyed the three pools and the gym. GPS couldn't find the place with the address on the website. Just type in 9005 Leslie and you will get there.
Was in Toronto for my mother's funeral. Wasn't really focused on accommodations other than the room lacked a decent radio.( to be fair ,I guess nobody listens to them anymore.)
The hotel was good. The pools looked wonderful, as did the gym/ rec area. Our carpet between the beds was damp. I didn't report it as we were seldom in the room anyways, and it lessened over the next couple of days. Although there were many references in the reviews to the free breakfast, there wasn't one for us- not too sure why some get it and others don't.
Staff are friendly and helpful. Good location with lots of restaurants (especially chinese restaurants) which provide good food nearby. The cleanliness of the hotel is not up to standard with broken glass found in the pantry and leftovers inside the refrigerator.
Stayed for one night, room was OK, building looks a bit run down, but got a decent night's sleep. Location is good near highways, lots of restaurants nearby, located in predominantly Chinese neighbourhood but a large cluster of restaurants within a short drive
Although I am a frequent traveler, my standards are not very high. As long as I have a comfortable bed, decent internet connection, warm shower and proper heat and air conditioning, I'm happy. In my experience, this hotel has none of the above. That's a shame for the employees, who were friendly and helpful, if not a bit overwhelmed. I... more
From a Business Travellers standpoint, I found the hotel somewhat lacking in some basic points.
When making our trip to Toronto I chose this hotel because it's perfect location and it's the only one I will stay at
Room was clean and recently renovated. Hugely confusing relationship with adjoining Sheraton....Restaurant is Sheraton, TV services are Sheraton, Pool etc is Sheraton....why not just make it all a Sheraton??! Oh, parking is basically non-existent.
I stayed at this Best Western in Richmond hill Ontario. The rooms were not bad in fact for a Best Western it was pretty good BUT it is a 3 story hotel and there is NO ELEVATOR ! and parking is terrible. I was supposed to stay at the Best Western by the airport but at the last minute they... more
the room was clean and comfortable. bit of a musty odor when I first went in, but it cleared up once the fan was on for a bit. really good value for the money.
it was just a stop over. Bedding and towels were very clean.
Hotel is great, Free breakfast is nice if you can get seated. When I was at the hotel it took 30 minutes to get a seat. Resturant was empty but all the tables were dirty. No wait staff and the poor host was left scrambling trying to clean up for the everyone.
Bit of a mix up with the reservation between hotels.com and best western, but that has been rectified. Good location, within walking distance to good restaurants.
I made my reservation online and almost didn't get my hotel when I arrived. Miscommunication on my reservation date. Took sometime to resolve the problem, I even had my reservation confirmation. They should have a better communication before this happened again. Then security called was made due to a party going on in the hallway and hotel rooms between my... more
Nice hotel, clean, updated, very comfortable. Pleasant staff. Good location and easy to get back and forth from our competition location. I have never been disappointed with a stay at Best Western. Really appreciated the larger fridge in room. Only thing I would have changed is a larger coffee pot. Yes, even with Tim Horton's right next door, although my spouse really appreciated that. Thank you.
THe hotel was fine..no elevator though and the walls were thin . I could hear people talking in the hallway and water rushing through pipes.
This location appears to have been renovated recently if I am not mistaken. It looks considerable better than I last remember. It seems to be cleaner now as well. It was a little run down and tired looking before. They seem to have swung a deal with the adjoining Sheraton Hotel to offer breakfast now which is an added bonus.
clean room, stayed here before & always impressed!
If you are looking for a luxury vacation and think that this is the spot, look again. Don't get me wrong, this hotel has all you need, but is not absolute luxury.
We stayed in a double room, and even though the beds are small, I found them to be extremely comfortable, we had 2 nights of good sleep.

While staying in the big city of Toronto why not spend time at this diamond in Richmond Hill. It is only a short drive to down town but it is a true jewel. You will not be disappointed. We were not. My first stay at this Best Western was so good that I called my office and asked my assistant to book me into Best westerns exclusively . I used to always stay at Holiday Inn - but I switched to Best Western over a year ago - & never looked back!... it is agood hotel, but more expensive than other simillar hotels. there is a swimming pool, good for family.it is not close to shopping area, but easy access to Wanderland. the rooms are comfortable and clean. there is access to Sheraton hotel. Breakfast is excellant with a very nice staff.
The staff were very helpful and met all of my requests. The hotel was convenient as it was adjacent to conference site and close to many restaurants. Easy access from highway.
It was good except no slippers and tooth brush provided, which is not convenient.
Stayed here with our team and we would do it again. Room was clean and staff were friendly. Big bonus, the ice machines always had ice. Parking was indeed a bit hard to find at night. Breakfast buffet at the attached sheraton got good reviews from those in our group that ate there. This hotel gave us a very good... more
Very comfortable, quiet, clean and well-designed room that provided a relaxing end to a day of travel and meetings. The staff are attentive to ensuring you have everything you need and very helpful in answering questions about the area. We will definitely stay here again!
I was there due to a power outage, so it was extremely busy, and the poor girl at the desk was on her own for an extended period of time; shame on management for allowing that. (She handled the pressure like a pro, with grace and good humour, even as customers were getting upset over the circumstances). There is ample parking (including underground if you don't mind the walk), and lots of... more
Stayed here when the house lost power during the ice storm. Nothing fancy, but the room was clean and up-to-date, had a microwave and fridge. It's also nice that it's connected up with the Sheraton next door and shares some amenities.
The young lady at the front desk was extremely helpful. Typically when my wife and I do an overnight we like to catch up on movies on the movie channel, but unfortunately the in-house movie system was being upgraded. It would have been nice to know this ahead of our booking. The young lady even tried to move us to the sister hotel next door, The Sheraton, but they wouldn't let us transfer... more
This hotel has difficult access & minimal parking. There was toothpaste scum on the bathroom faucet & the tub had not been washed, only wiped down. The lobby was filled with loud kids running around or sprawled on the floor. There was no business ctr. Customer service was poor and the cancellation policy inflexible.
A very enjoyable experience. All staff members were very polite, helpful and highly professional. The hotel itself was very bright and clean. I was very impressed with the dining room. The food was exceptional and the cost was absolutely very reasonable. The servers were very polite and helpful. I will definitely stay at this hotel again should the need arise.
We choose the Best Western as a cheaper alternative to a convention at the Sheraton next door. It was a great choice as the two hotels were linked with a walkway and we never had to go outside to get to the festivities. The staff were friendly, the beds were comfortable and everything was within a block radius (restaurants, malls etc...) The only bad side was the restaurant. We waited about 15... more
Just have to fix ur addy gps takes u wrong we were lost then take out guy had same prob ...not cool cost us an hour getting there ... Then kfc guy 40 min late cause of it!
It takes a good bit to disappoint me but almost everything about this hotel was bad. The only good part was the gym attached was larger than most hotels. The hotel felt unsafe, Asian massage parlors beside hotel, hotel was old and shabby, no breakfast provided.
Great location and great value. Would stay again.
This hotel had nicely decorated and clean rooms. Unfortunately if you are not familiar with the Toronto area and depend on a GPS you will not be able to find the hotel. The hotel needs to provide an alternate address that the GPS recognizes. It took us an hour to find the hotel each time we left and came back... more
Extremely clean. Even the top of pictures on the wall were dusted, lol. It was spotless. Great location.
Second time at this hotel. The next time I will ask not to be on first floor which is located in basement. It was noisy and could not sleep all night. I was hoping for a great stay as we did in August on 3rd floor. Excellent location and clean room. No hassles. Other than the noise from being in basement everything else was okay.
I was there the sleep before a long road and i cannot sleep because kids take the hallway for a playground and there parents agreed and they drink beers in the hallway until 2AM. I call the security of the hotel and they never came ! I shall call the police ! The personnel are not helpfull....they just dont care So if you go there to have fun and no respect for others .... its the place to go... more
We stayed at this hotel the weekend of August 9th 2013 with our two young children. Stayed 5 days only complaint was we had to have our room key reset on an almost daily basis. Fitness facilities were excellent. Great selection of restaraunts witin a 5 min walk.
This was my first time staying at the Best Western in Richmond Hill and I really enjoyed the hotel. I have stayed in many hotels in Toronto and found this one to be the most convenient. could have been help ful to have spring water in the room.Non allergic pillows could have solved some allergy issues. They were very helpful in finding my lost cell phone Thanks. Good experience.
Good quality / price ! Stayed on august 12 -14 (2 nights)
I book a non-smoking room for 3 nights stay. However the room smell of smoke every time right when you step inside the room. The smell is the strongest and the most noticeable in the first moment. After a while you get used to it. However families beware especially with children as you don't want to get second hand smoke. Otherwise, the hotel has good facilities, indoor and outdoor swimming... more
hotel receptionist sent us to the room which was already occupied by the other person in middle of the night, that too me n my hubby was carrying 2 little kids, and he gave us the room which was the farthest end of the hotel, no elevators. later on he gave us new room near stairs and with balcony, when i yelled at him.
Hotel could do with an upgrade as rooms are dated. Good location for where we needed to be. Not many shops nearby if you need to buy essentials.
Kids running and sreaming until 10 pm and after they go to the bed there parents run and drink in the hallway until 2 am
7am the kids are back
The security never came
Very very very noisy
Too close from the other buildings
Not enough parking lots
Staff are not helpfull, they just dont care
Very poor quality
Rooms were clean and quiet. Staff friendly. Didn't have time for pool. Would stay here again.
After staying at another hotel for a visit to Canada's Wonderland trip, we stayed at the Best Western hotel north of Toronto. Overall pleased for the price. Right beside Tim Horton's clean room.
Decent value for the money. A bit too much sound/noise coming through the doors/walls especially if you're staying on the ground floor (as there's lots of kids and general noise about) but otherwise good place to stay. Near plenty of restaurants and entertaining options nearby. Good sized room and appointments.
This is probably our third stay here, its good area and a pretty good price. Its a little old yes, but really for what we require who cares. Front desk girls are always pleasant, chipper and eager to please. Reason for my review is this..... we got home the night after our Canada's Wonderland day and I unpacked our bags,... more
I often stay at the Best Western while on business because the hotels are conveniently located, offer free internet, good beds, clean facilities, an area to have some sort of breakfast or coffee . this hotel offers a good full buffet but also an in-house Starbucks with a Tim Hortons within 20 meters. The pool and fitness facilities are among... more
This is an old out of date hotel. If it didn't farm out the breakfast and fitness to the Sheridan next door it would have nothing positive except location to Wonderland. This is far below the Best Western mark of excellence. Even the TV didn't work.. and that was the least of the problems.
We should have known that when we tried to book 2 queen beds they didn't have any to find another place to stay. We arrived and at first didn't know where the front lobby was, we thought we were at the back lobby.
We were one of the lucky ones that got to stay in the basement. First the hallway...

I was staying on business for one evening. I chose this hotel for the rate I received through my company. I arrived to find 4 or 5 people sitting at the entrance to the hotel smoking. We stayed here in June for 4 nites because we had a wedding near by. The hotel is nothing fancy but the rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable and the price was good too. Was a good hotel but construction made it difficult to get to as well the parking lot is a bit disorganized. There is no elevator at this hotel so watch out if you are with your kids and have a few bags makes for several trips.
Am surprised just how quiet this hotel is being in such a busy area. This last stay I missed not having a bottle of water in the room, but having Tim Hortons next door is great. Hotel staff are very helpful and gracious. We had attended a wedding that evening and didn't arrive until after midnight. They were very quick... more

The staff were very friendly and the room was comfortable and sound proof. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other visitors. I would definitely stay there again if I were to go back to Toronto in the near future! was here over the weekend for a convention at the hotel next door..rooms were very clean and the staff were extremely helpful..would definitely come here again. unfortunately with the busy weekend didn't get to try the pool of fitness centre, but heard good things from other people. there is some construction in front of the hotel (May 2013) but you... more

I've stayed at this hotel for 54 nights and 14 check-ins this year for a reason. They provide tremendous value for the dollars. The staff is great, and the rooms are adequate. It has everything that I require for my business week and I can get in and out with ease.
.I was very impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the hotel in general. I felt very welcomed and safe as I was travelling alone.
The food was awesome and the breakfast omelette was "the" best ever. I would highly recommend this location and I will be back.
I've spent a lot of time in Best Western Hotels due to business, and the Parkway didn't let me down. The hotel is conveniently located on Hwy 7, with access to a variety restaurant locations. - Located in the busy highway 7 East. Because of some construction is on-going, traffic jam most of the time.

Less than helpful front desk staff. Noisy hallways. TV remote didn't work. Carpet was soaked. Paper thin walls. My work take me to hotels 2x monthly and I will not stay at this one again.
Hotel & Room was clean - Staff was cheeful - & helpful - Wireless Internet was fast & easy to use - was less expensive than the Markham Holiday Inn - & the Room & Hotel was nicer - with eco friendly soap dispensers in the bathroom - which was appreciated.
Stayed here Mid Jan for a hockey tournament, 13 teams in total staying in the hotel. We over run the place however noise subsided by 1130 pm. We booked an effiecency suite just for more space.
