I have stayed for 2 weeks at a time, 2 seperate times. The staff has been exemplamentary. I asked for extra coffee once for my room, and always received it. The restaurant staff, chef and Sandra and Brain are most excellent. Top shelf.

Located close to the bridge to Ottawa - can walk across, then a few blocks (about 15 minutes) to lots of restaurants, indoor malls, etc. The room was reasonable for the price. The immediate area in Gatineau is rather bland. Basically it was a place to sleep, and to get some work done using the wireless internet access. The place was fairly empty. The front desk staff were friendly.

Me and my family stayed there in this hotel last week and we had to check out a day in advance unexpected. I Spoke to the sales manager Paul and he was so nice, professional and helped us to have refunded and talked very nicely. We were really impressed with the kind of professionalism they have and the hotel is very clean.

I stayed for three nights, the beds were very comfortable, clean. Nice view from the ninth floor, free internet, free digital cable, mind you a few of the channels I wanted to watch were scrambled. This hotel was a great value for your dollar. It wasnt a high end hotel but it had everything we needed for our stay. Plus we had a fabulous view of parliament from our balcony. And it was a very quick walk across the Alexandria Bridge to get to Ottawa and parliament.

Perfect location We stayed for 2 nights and found the hotel to be in great proximity to downtown Ottawa and also to Gatineau Park. The room was very clean and the staff very helpful. We did not have any problems with parking...maybe due to the time of year. Our room had a great view of the river, Parliment buildings and the NAC. All in all we would return to this hotel.

The personnel were helpful to the extreme. They gave new meaning to the concept of customer service. I definitely will use this hotel again!

The Alexander bridge is located across the street which takes you to the Byward market, which is a fascinating area that has shopping, produce vendors and restaurants and coffee places.

Nice Place to Stay A bit worn, but a pleasant place to stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The river view rooms give a decent, though distant, view of Parliament Hill. The shower required a feather touch to get an appropriate water temperature. The Museum of Civilisation is close by.

My visit to Ottawa Canada was to visit a very good friend whom I have known for the past 38 years, and who is now hospitalized for what appears will be a very long time. This was my first trip to Ottawa and Gatineau, and I throughly enjoyed my stay.

Best Western Hotel and Conference Center in Gatineau

Close to the Museum of Civilization and the bridge. You could walk over the bridge to the downtown of Ottawa. it's so convenient. Hotel room was spacious and clean. Staff were nice, friendly and helpful. However, the rate didn't include breakfast and parking.

Never again

I'll start with the good thing, you just have to cross the bridge to arrive in Downtown Ottawa.....but not enough parking space, garage door broken, no service for breakfeast, uncooked pancake and race trak for kid in the hall way......NEVER AGAIN !!! Great renovation

Loved this Hotel !! Staff were very welcoming and attentive. Rooms very fresh and we new that a renovation had been done in the last year. Pool are was superb , clean and uncrowded. Many thanks to Martin the Manager and Najwa who were crucial in assuring my stay was awsome.
