Nice man greeted us warmly as we came in. Everything made in house. Bought a rosemary/mint shampoo bar. Quite powerfully scented throughout the store, so use the conveniently placed coffee beans as a palate cleanser. Website wasn't working, but otherwise they will ship if you have orders.

Long story short - yelled at by a customer service rep here and told to never come back because we tried to make a transaction right. We paid for something in advance and never received it for 4 months and they claimed it was our fault for paying for something that they never really agreed to give to us. Who knew you could make so many products from beeswax and honey and such? A lot of the products are made in-store from locally sourced ingredients. Expect to find candles and soaps,hair products, lotions and skin care products (for men and women), flavoured honey and so much more!

It's worth a visit just to peruse the selection and get some ideas!

Love this store. The owners are great, the honey and bees wax is all sourced locally, and all ingredients are for real natural. Unlike Lush, rocky mountain soap co, Body Shop and others, Beehive products actually do NOT hide sulfites, aluminum, and other chemicals in them!

Default setting for those who wash. Local bees, local wax, local owners. Discerning collection of 'ingredients'. The plant-oils alone keep me a regular customer. Then the soap. Then the lotions (Mountain Man or BUST). Then the wash peripherals (IE shampoo, bubble bath). Then the massage yum. Oh yeah, don't forget the honey.

A charming owner, a charming store - I cannot rave enough. The prices are nothing compared to Lush or The Body Shop. The owner was explaining to us that all the bees wax comes from a farm less than fifty miles away - it does not get any more local than that!

When it comes to bath/body type gifts, I head over to the Beehive above anywhere else. Why? They are local. They are very conscious about the ingredients in their products, and you would be very hardpressed to find anything listed on their labels that isn't naturally derived. While walking in Kensington one afternoon, I stumbled upon a quaint little yellow house called the Beehive. This little boutique carries all wares bee-related - everything from scented beeswax candles and soaps, to lotions, shampoos and bath bombs.
