I adore this coffee house and restaurant! The service is wonderful and the food is fresh and delightful. I've eaten lunch here many times and always had great experiences.

Cozy, friendly coffee shop

The "Bean" as it is known, is a quaint, hidden-away spot in Owen Sound. Great menu of soups, sandwiches, wraps, baked goods and, of course, coffee and tea. A very popular hang-out for the locals. Staff there is so accommodating and friendly. Everyone gets treated like family.

Quaint atmosphere

Definitely not accessable as you have to go down to the basement. Food simple but good. Prices very reasonable. Cafe type and great for lunches. Atmosphere unique. A great variety of herbal teas and coffees. Cup I was served my herbal tea in was chipped on the lip, which was replaced when pointed out.

The sandwiches and wraps here are perfect. The best combination of ingredients and freshness.
Try any of the grilled sandwiches and you will be pleased. Love it. Great ambiance and fun place. The soups are great also.

Yummy and groovy

If you want great coffee and very yummy unpretentious food in Owen Sound, this is a great place to stop. In particular, their cabbage roll soup and pesto chicken wraps are very, very good. Homemade cookies finish the meal. :)

Nutritious and filling

This is a different kind of restaurant, serving many of the offices in the downtown Owen Sound area with meals prepared to order and taken out.
