Good price, poor service! Saved about $50 on a pair of Clark's winter boots compared to the Browns store downtown. Unfortunately we had them on hold and when we went to pick them up nobody was working in men's shoes at all. We waited for quite a long time before anyone came. Will think twice about shopping here again.

Department stores are plagued by a lack of staff, specifically cashiers. I don't think I have ever been able to shop at the Bay and not had issues trying to check out: no one staffing any of the 4 available checkouts, long lines as the till is being operated by an 80 year old woman, then price checks because no one can understand the sale signage.

I tend to do a lot of impulse buying at the Bay: non-iron work shirts when they are on sale (which is fairly frequently); a dozen pairs of soy cotton underwear when they were half off; a London Fog overcoat (returned). Impulse shopping on your lunch break is dangerous, and I am thankful for their lenient return policy because a couple of times I got home and wondered just what the heck I bought... more

Brace yourself folks because I'm talking about underwear. I've had the most luck at this particular Bay location with finding bra sizes for little women, if you know what I mean. I'm also thankful that they carry bras that aren't loaded with underwire and padding like most other places because I have no desire to look like Dolly Parton when I'm actually okay with embracing my Kate Hudson-ness... more

Anyone remember the mirrored ceiling in the fragrance department here before the big reno? I always got turned around as a kid because of it.

Department stores these days just seem barren. Not because there's no one in them, there are people shopping, but because it seems like they can't afford to keep large amounts of inventory to fill up their large foot print. This location is no different.

Steeped in Canadian history, the Hudson's Bay Company is still going strong. At their large store in Chinook Centre, you can find anything. This place is the granddaddy of department stores.
