In the Baton
Always had a good meal here. Lots of selection. Great atmosphere. One of the better places for steak
Great place for a night out!
The food was excellent, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the staff was pleasant. The only recommendation I would give is that you make a reservation if you are heading out on the weekend. The first time we visited we came in off the street and the wait was over 45 minutes. The next time we made a reservation and were seated right away.

Disapppointing Birthday Dinner

Was my husband's birthday and he was craving some good ribs for his special dinner. Had been to the Baton Rouge @the Eaton Centre downtown Toronto and the food was excellent so we decided to go to the one closer to home.

Not terrible but expected more for the price
April 14, 2014Baton Rouge needs to find it's spot it wants to fit in. Atmosphere and food offering (as listed on the menu) suggest they want to appeal to the upper scale dining crowd (a la The Keg). Consistently good

Our family of five eat here on average once per month. While the chicken and rib combo is a staple for my husband, the rest of us have tried a variety of dishes, from chicken tenders, to steak, to fish or hamburgers, and have never had a bad meal.

Consistently good; great ribs

We really enjoy their ribs. In fact my wife and I order one large and split it. Free are pretty good aw well.
The waiters/waitresses are always helpful with that and good service.
The only thing to be careful is their wine prices. $15.00 + liquor & HST for a large glass of red is excessive.

Wonderful birthday lunch
February 16, 2013We took my mom to Baton Rouge for her 68th Birthday in a group of 7 which included my sons aged 5 and 2. We all enjoyed it very much, the food and service was wonderful and now we'll be going back for dinner sometime. Loved the booths and big round tables, everything was very clean and comfortable.

Lunch at Baton Rouge, Whitby
January 30, 2013Lunch choices are good with something for most tastes. Portion sizing is good and food is attractively presented. Service is quick, which is important at lunch time when people have to get back to work. It's a bit 'pricey' for regular working day lunches but it's a great place for those 'special occasions' meals out with the gang.

A much better tasting meal can be enjoyed at the keg for around 20$ less at least. Atmosphere was nice but it couldn't make the food taste any better.
