I enjoyed this hotel and feel that it has a worse rating than it should. First of all, just because the receptionist is foreign does not imply she was mean. She was nice to me even if she did not speak english fluently.

the worst in town
August 06, 2013very uncomfortable place to stay..receptionist is really bad in english and she dont care about the travellers...non friendly at all...feels like ur in a third world country..and im sure thats where the receptionist came from......very dirty not presentable at all..the rooms...but its cheap,..thats wat we get for cheap place,,so i gues we have to deal with,,,its so simple....its cheap ,,then... more

Never again
March 19, 2013Well.. if we could take the beds home that would be great. Other than that, we had a kitchenette just above the office. Main Hiway, Center of City but leaky rooms, Noisy AC
September 07, 2012I was in room 210, just above the office - Owner told me not to shower as tub leaks. Room was less than normal. It looks like just a down town shack and not for stay for travellers to Calgary. The whole night I was worried about my CRV parked outside. Hairs in the room were common things.

July 17, 2011The Banff Trail Motel was recommended to us by an employee at Deerfoot Mall. We wanted something cheap and local for one night as we passed through. The room was 'meh'. We had to call the police
July 20, 2010Horrible place filled with skethy people. Looked okay when we arrived as it was cheap and convient for passing through Calgary.
