There are many more much better Vietnamese Noodle places in town. I give it one fork down.
They have a slightly longer dinner menu, and the prices are slightly higher, but the portions are also larger. My favourite dishes are the fresh seafood rolls (served with tangy hoisin sauce) and the three-colour vermicelli. Tasty vietnamese and chinese cooking, recently changed management (in late 2003, I think) but the food is still tasty and fast.
The value here is exceptional. One of the best kept secrets in Old Strathcona. Everything on the menu is $3.99 before 3pm. I recommend the fresh spring roles (shrimp) and the Spicy Beef Satay Noodle Soup.
Edmonton is not lacking for Vietnamese restaurants, but Bach Dang stands out for its extensive menu, super-friendly service, and easy-on-the-wallet prices.
