This was the best hair experience I've had in Vancouver! Tara was amazing and knew exactly what I wanted. She took the time to explain the techniques she was using and how to style it myself at home. She's also just a delightful person in general, so that's a bonus!

I highly recommend this salon. They were on time, don't push products at you, and super affordable!

I've been going to Billie-Jean for over a year. She's the best hairdresser I've ever had, I recommend her to friends and sent my other half to her to get his hair sorted too. She always does a fabulous job and takes pride in her work.
She's also a bargain at $45, and it helps she's also interesting and incredibly funny.

Just ask for Takashi. He is amazing and can cut any style. I had a long hair but I wanted it shorter. After looking at a few potential styles, we agreed on one, and he went to work. The result is even better than I thought.

I had some good experiences and others not so good after moving to Vancouver.

I've been to several of their mid-priced female stylists and I think each time the results were about average. Everyone seems really nice and friendly, but for what they charge (tried a cut, color, and updo/halfdo), I've left each time feeling like it could have been better.

Apparently the owner designs the art in there and that is worth seeing.

Tried a couple of stylists at this location and found it to be dismal. The cut should be right the first time and I should not have to return to have the cut fixed. Gave them three tries and they struck out.

For years, I was always "that guy" who gets his hair cut by friends, and never pays for cuts.
That attitude is what led me to get my hair cut by Erica (for free) while she was in hair school, and now I'm hooked. I'm back to paying for hair cuts, and I don't mind one bit. Erica is great.

I have been going to Axis on Georgia since September 2009. Andrew is an awesome hair dresser. Very friendly and really seems to "get" what I like for my hair. He makes the experience seem more like hanging out with a friend then getting your hair cut :)

I have been there multipile times for convenience that it was the neighborhood.
However, their service has gotten really bad over time.
Las time I was there they charged me $400 to match my roots highlight color.
I iwsh I could remember her name but the manager was soooo rude to me and the guy that did my hair ruined my hair color and left me helpless.

Avoid this horrible place at all costs.

I went for highlights and was put under the drier (I learned after, unecessary with my fine hair) until my head was unbelievably hot. I left with hair that was broken off in all sorts of places and I'm still trying to grow my mullet out 6 months later.

Did the typical male move of landing in Vancouver and needing an instant haircut. I was flying in from out of town and it was sunday.
