Food had no flavour, service was poor which I would be more understanding about if it was busy, but I was the only table
This is by far the best fish and chips I've had since leaving Newfoundland.
Anyone craving that Newfoundland down home feeling will certainly get it here.
Newfoundland music playing and great service.
The Newfoundland owners were very friendly.
This is my place to come when I get homesick.
It has my 10 out of 10.
Oh and the price. I...

I've been here a few times with my mom and my sister. The food and service is excellent and I love the decor and the background music. It is hard to get really good fish and chips in most places here in the fort, so when mom and I ordered them we were very pleased with the quality and the... more
This is a great restaurant for getting a good homestyle Newfoundland cooked dinner in Alberta north of Edmonton.
My wife, who is from Newfoundland originally, loves their fish and chips with dressing and gravy on the fries. I am not a fish guy so I always order their bacon and cheese hamburger with fries dressing and gravy.
The prices are...

My co-workers and I go there every Thursday night. Great wing and beer specials. Other menu items are very good and reasonably priced. Staff is a lot of fun and friendly.
If you from the maritimes, the Atlantic kitchen makes you feel like you're home...from jig's dinner to chips and dressing....it's a down home restaurant to dine at while visiting ft. Saskatchewan
We visited this Ma and Pa outfit Saturday night. It was very busy and short staffed .
My fish and chips where overdone ,lots of chips kind of skimpy on the fish.
Don't think I will go there again.
What a treat on a Saturday night went to a couple of restaurants in Edmonton where the wait was way too long so we came back to the Fort and had a wonderful fish dinner the salmon was beautifully cooked, the fish and chips second to none, Add the fries Dressing and gravy and you have a meal worthy of... more
This family run restaurant features seafood that tastes just like you traveled to the Maritimes to eat it! Their Halibut and fries are very good, as are all their fish and chip dishes. reasonably priced and fair portions. The atmosphere is homey and they make you feel comfortable. Very friendly service.
Haven't had a bad meal here ever. Reasonably priced and great service. Great menu selection, Portions are great.
Went here for the first time with another couple. It's not bad but for me it wasn't that great either. Lots of fried food on the menu but one person in our party had the steamed salmon and enjoyed it. I'm not a big fish eater so chose the Seafood Platter. Popped a shrimp in my mouth only to find... more
Went twice this week . Feels like your back home . Love the fish and homemade fries !
Breakfast , bologna & eggs . Great service both times . The owner came to talk with us, she's a sweetie !
I liked this restaurant - it seemed homey, and I will go back (although it appears to be up for sale). I've never been to Newfoundland, but I suspect this restaurant is pretty authentic. We weren't brave enough to try the cod tongues, but if you're inclined to like that kind of stuff, here it is! I really liked the... more
Well,we wanted to like this place, but, nope. It was cold, real cold, like keep your coat on cold. The food was ok.The service was...ok.The bill was a little high for a small town diner.
We went to watch a hockey game,it was two for one apptzs. night, good thing or our bill would've been crazy. Our server was fun and put up with my brothers funny(sort of) jokes. The decor is nice, washrooms were clean.
I think the title is clear enough. The food sure came very quickly but it's not something I'd expect out of a sit-down restaurant. Everything's deep-fried with thick greasy batter. Would not go back.
The decoration of the restaurant is quite nice with NHL team flags, etc. The Hotty-yaki wings are nice.
I live in Fort Saskatchewan and this is the best bar in town, especially if you are a bit more mature. Great atmosphere, food, drinks, games and TVs with sports. Owners are excellent and truly care about their clients. Servers are all friendly and bartenders race around making sure to keep up. Many different special events are held here, so... more
We were at the Bear's Den for a private function. We arrived early so we could order our food and eat before the function got rolling. Our food was excellent but friends which showed up an hour later were not impressed with the service and the food. It seemed like the kitchen didn't think there would be 300+ people for... more
I've been here many times with friends and also with a large group. Service was very slow with the large group and meals came out bit by bit so some were almost done eating while others were still waiting for food. The place is huge and can get noisy if busy but that is part of the atmosphere. The food... more
Thursdays are wing night, great variety and quick service. Staff very friendly, bit loud but good food.
I loved the atmosphere, but the food wasn't exactly the best.. steak bites were gross, no seasoning at all, and way overdone. I got a platter of apps and the only good thing was the mozza sticks. But, I have to say the service was good and I liked the atmosphere
Changed from a traditional and pretty seedy tavern to a modern sports bar. Compares very favourably with the chain sports bars in town and is in the old down town ad not on the highway. One of my two favourite bars in Fort Saskatchewan
Typical sports lounge. Lots of rowdy sports fans. However, it's kept fairly clean, the bathrooms actually don't smell like everyone uses the floor instead of the urinal. The TVs are great.
My friends treated me to a Sunday brunch here and it was fantastic! The Buffett was pretty good, but the real treat was the food that came around for you to try! Eggs Benedict, sausage, sliders, pineapple with caramel sauce, and more that I can't remember. A beautiful spot for food with friends!
