As someone who loves to craft and loves a bargain, Atlantic Fabrics is where it's at. I don't really enjoy driving all the way into 'deep Dartmouth', but the prices are so much better than Fabricville, that I don't mind.

I love this store! The staff are always friendly and willing to help when you're looking for something to fit your needs whether it's hot pink sheer fabric for curtains or a shiny star fabric for that galaxy themed quilt.

The selection is wonderful, even in the sales and clearance sections. The staff was helpful. It was worth the trip.

I was actually quite blown away by this store the first time I walked in, it's huge, and has a lot to offer, way more than I would have imagined! Obviously fabric and sewing supplies are their mainstay, but they also have large sections of home decor and craft items as well.

I would rate this store, hands down, as the best fabric store in Halifax and Dartmouth, and the best craft store ever. The only reason I didn't go for all five stars is that its selection in the 'fashion fabric' area is pretty small. There are plenty of denims and lots of suiting, but nothing you can really make a nice dress out of. But I think the place is fantastic when it comes to all other... more
