Recent lunch

Took my friend for lunch after a few less than exceptional dim sum experiences in the burbs last week. He loved it.
Had the hot and sour soup, the soup dumplings, pan fried pork dumplings and the spicy shredded beef. Everything was served hot, fresh and was delicious. Best northern Chinese food in Toronto!

Fast, fresh, and tasty

This very popular ChinaTown fav is always busy, but never fails to deliver generous portions, at very affordable prices. Soups and dumplings are particularly good. Mu Shui pork also a good bet.

Great asian food at a good price

Had lunch here and based on online reviews I chose the deep fried chicken and the onion beef pancake. Both were delicious! They were served with a pot of asian tea which appeared to be a good digestif. Service was a bit rushed and sloppy but its part of the chatacter of the place I suspect.

Try the soup dumplings

This place is cute, in a great location, clean and super tasty. We went for dim sum and split the pork buns, beef wraps and soup dumplings. All terrific and fresh and server hot.

This is a great choice for dim-sum in the center of the city. The food is tasty and fresh. The quality is good, on par with NYC dim-sum, but not quite the quality of the real deal in China proper.

I can not say enough about the excellence of the food in this restaurant. The service is good but a little abrupt at times becuase they are all very busy. This is the best value for your money. Excellent flavor and selection

When i take people here for chinese they are hooked, the taste and quality of the food are second to none. I also love to get it to take home. The servers are also very attentive, filling glasses and clearing the table when the dish is done. They are also helpful with menu choices.

Went there for Friday night dinner, waited about half an hour at 8:00 but I'm glad we waited it out! We're big fans of Shanghainese food, and theirs is very good & authentic, had the dishes we've been craving. I came here with a group of 20 people. We ordered a range of dishes for the table, including appetizers, dim sum and mains. Everything we ordered was freshly prepared, tasty and attractively presented. For the size of our party and the amount we ordered the bill was quite reasonable. Service was quick, responsive. Decent mix of "authentic" Chinese-style dishes and Canadianized dishes. Presentation of the food is nice. And while you won't be wowed by the place (or any of them, as there are a few), it offers good quality at reasonable prices in an interesting decor. Try the more authentic Chinese style dishes for something different and interesting.
