Don't waste your time - Bay Sushi is the place to go
December 22, 2011This restaurant has been going downhill for awhile .... prices are high and the restaurant needs a "thorough cleaning". Bay Sushi in behind is the BEST !! Arigato is OFF my list, sorry.

Had a nice meal and everything was on time, tasty and the service was nice. We have been here before and had our dog with us and he was welcome to sit with us on the patio.
The prices are a little higher than what I was expecting. The washroom was clean but defiantly needs some renovations.
We will return.

Out of their Depth and Don't Miss your Ferry
August 05, 2011This restaurant is at Horseshoe Bay, right next to the Ferry Terminal and must do a booming business with the amount of walk-up traffic they get from people waiting for the Ferry to Nanaimo. Ate here on April 30 and was very sick for 5 days. Contacted the Vancouver Board of Health, VCH, see their insepction reports on this facility at www.foodinspectionweb.vcha.ca/Main Locate the restaurant by name and read to the bottom of the recent reports. Very dirty place, very bad food handling/storage practices, many repeat offenses… for your own health… stay away.

Tacky tip desperation
February 21, 2009Had a bizarre experience at this restaurant recently. We were the only table in the restaurant yet received very poor service. We even had to ask for plates! Then at the end as everyone was paying their bills, the waitress asked three times “how will the tip be paid?”.
