Very nice venue, good acoustics

Very high ceilings thanks to open balcony instead of 2nd floor. Food was better than average. Excellent acoustics (no echo) even though there was an open atrium. Recommend this for a wedding over One King West which had bad acoustics.

It was not a terribly hot day, but the simpson building A/C could not cope with it, all evening the entire event was sweat soaked affair. The food was delicious and the service was great.

Opened in 1929 when Art Deco architecture was a rage, the Arcadian Court restaurant still stands proud and tall today, despite competition from contemporaries. Modern restaurants find themselves unable to compete with Arcadian Courts magnificent natural skylights, wrought iron rails, archaic windows and mammoth chandeliers. Their resident chef is a magician of sorts who will captivate you with... more
