Distinguished and Comfortable
The Apartment Hotel is distinguished by its familial elegance and comfort. Every single one of the 126 suites and studios has its own balcony and kitchen. Renovated in 2005, all of the appliances here are clean and in good working condition. A stay at the Apartment Hotel gets you access to the heated rooftop pool, exercise equipment and sun deck. Great room, fully equipped with new appliances. Perfect for a short term stay.
I booked this hotel because It was at downtown of Montreal and the price fits my budget, in the reviews they said that the parking was complementary, but it wasn't true. You have to pay 20 dollars/night and the parking lot is accros the street ( it's a little difficult in winter and in a rainy day), and it's not a big one, it was very narrow for a 4 x4. I was there with my children, (2y and 9... plus
Spacious room, fully equipped kitchen made our stay as thrifty as convenient both. An outstanding location made it possible to walk to the old city, China town and hike to the Mount Royal. Everything in in a walking distance including the #747 airport bus, car rental locations since we drove o Quebec City and subway stations. Breakfast had many options, kids loved it as well as adults. Nice hotel. Convenient location. Clean. The most important - parking across the street and cancellation policy. Priceless if you travel during the winter.
There is nothing trendy about this place, but it offers comfort, cleanliness and excellent location close to McGill University and Sherbrooke Street. Parking ($20/day) was conveniently across the street in an underground garage.
Very convenient location, particularly if you are visiting McGill University which is just steps away. Parking is free in the garage across the street. Each room has a small balcony so you can allow fresh air into your room while overlooking the busy Montreal streets, which is not always possible in other hotels. The kitchen is very complete, so if you are on a budget and don't want to eat out... plus
On checking we were notified we had been upgraded to the 1 bedroom suite. Upon entering the room we felt very comfortable due to the apartment style layout. The hotel was located in a good location with many places to visit within walking distance and there is a subway stop just around the corner for the longer journeys. Over all this is a fantastic hotel and will return again on my next trip... plus
The hotel is excellent for the price. The only issue is the there is no toilet pump to unclog the toilet THANK YOU
Loved getting a two-room suite for the same price as a standard double bed room. Large space with kitchen, dining area, sitting room, bedroom, bathroom, and balcony were all wonderful. Pull-out couch was very comfortable - no bar in the back like the cheap ones often have. Centrally located with a garage right across the street. Would definitely stay here again. Could have used a ramp up to the... plus
Super!
One elevator out of service. That made for long waits in the AM. I have stayed here several times and the room was as I expected: clean, quiet and well-appointed.
The hotel was close to St Catherine Street. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. The parking is a little high. It is $25 a day added on to your hotel bill. It is across the street from the hotel. The continental breakfast was okay. Your typical continental breakfast with pastries and cereal. I would stay again for the price.
great location - rooms are spacious - clean - staff was very nice but one of the elevator was under repair and there was a fair amount of wait going up and down. We would stay again if it were not for the mattress which was very hard.
Perfect location, perfect description-this place is exactly what it claims to be. Therefore, if your expectation match what's offered, you could not ask for a better place to spend a few days at, as a home base, in Montreal.
I stayed for three nights with my mother and 3 children. We got a free upgrade to a suite which was wonderful! The room was very clean and comfortable. The pool was beautiful with a great view of the city. The only downside was the fact that there was one elevator out of service and it was a long wait during peak times (breakfast and check out) for the one working elevator. I would definitely... plus

The one bedroom apartment was very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. There was a large supermarket nearby on avenue du parc.
Great stay in the McGill area. The room came with a balcony, which was great because it was very warm and nice in Montreal.
This is a conveniently located hotel- within walking distance to most destinations. The hotel was very quiet inside, and there was no noise outside (bars/clubs). The continental breakfast was better than I predicted with many options of things to eat/drink. The rooms are a little outdated, but extremely clean (No bed bugs to be found...and trust me I looked!!). Also, the kitchenette is... plus
Disappointing stay. Hotel was very old and tired. Staff were uninterested. When we checked in it was a Sunday night and we had a car - we asked desk person could we park car on side street in spot that looked legal (parking sign in French which we don't speak). He advised he had no idea and recommended we park in the commercial park next door of another $20 that we did. Very poor attitude.... plus
Central location near McGill with lots of rooms set up as suites. Very comfortable.
We researched a number of hotels prior to booking this one. We were happy with our choice. Rooms were in need of modernising - hotel is under renovation which we found out when we arrived. Hopefully next time will improve. Good points were the staff and pool. Location OK although with kids probably to go for somewhere more central/ near metro.
Stayed here when we came to Montreal to attend a friends wedding. Did my research well and booked here, in a suite, for a six night stay. Really enjoyed my over night stay here! The kitchenette was great and well equipped. The bathroom was spacious and clean and the pillows were so comfortable! Overall great stay!
Our family had 4 suites for our daughters June 2013 graduation from McGill. Location, service, suites were perfect for our 3 night stay. The morning breakfast buffet was C+ but for the price, we still loved it. Did I mention location!
All my future visits to Montreal will likely be return visits.
Stayed for one night. Staff helpful and flexible. They were able to give us our room a little ahead of time.It was noisy until 16:00 due to construction in the underground parking. We were given a room at higher floor for that.Enjoyed the swimming pool.Only downside, the parking was at the Delta across the street. Not so convenient but temporary as far as I understand.

Royal. The staff is super friendly and makes you a quick map to help you
get oriented. The breakfast was good and the pool and washer/dryer
area great for an extended stay.

If you need quick elevators and tons of air conditioning in your room
you may be disappointed. We were fine with it but the average American
might not be.
The rooms are nice
Most staff are really friendly and helpful
The breakfast are really good
We stayed in a normal room for 4 days then went back for a night 2 days later and we had the surprise to be upgraded. This was really knid from them
\n\n
The breakfast room is small and quite often busy but you can easily take a tray to your room so not a big problem.
The lifts are really slow
Location was very good, about 3 blocks north of St Catherine street - the main shopping street. By foot 10mn to the cinema, 10-15mn from Chinatown, 15mn from Latin quarter, 20mn from rue St Paul (the old city part). Efficient staff, pet friendly, kitchen well equipped. Pool, some gym equipment, laundry facilities. Regular supermarket at 2,5 small blocks, organic supermarket even closer.

The hotel was centrally located and close to a metro station for easy access to other parts of the city.\n\nParking on the first night was not available; parking structure is rather small but we got a space on the second night; parking is kind of pricey.\n\nOverall, my husband and I were rather pleased with the hotel. The room was large and had a kitchenette for cooking, etc. The hotel had a... plus
We had asked for a junior suite, but all were occupied, so we were upgraded to a two-bedroom suite with living, dining and kitchen at no additional charge. We have stayed in this hotel more than once in the past, and it was always a rewarding experience.\n\nThere was some noise during the day due to updating construction, but the hotel was very quiet in the evening and early morning.\n\nThis is... plus
Outstanding value.\n\nHotel showing some age.\n\nGreat location, good facilities for the price, kitchenette and refrigerator outstanding amenities.

This hotel is one of the great places you can stay in if you are visiting McGill University and need to be also close to downtown Montreal
Great hotel. Our room had a kitchen. It looks like they converted an apartment building into a hotel. Will return and the rate was good.
This hotel gave us horrible customer service. They would not let us book two suites for our party that was traveling from across Canada to meet in Montreal. The lady on the phone was extremely rude and unaccommodating and did not even want to consider our business. We will not be recommending this hotel to others. Ever.
(I cannot even rate this hotel with zero stars, but would if I could)
we stayed at L'appartemente while we were visiting my nephew who attends MiGill University. It was a perfect location to the school and also all the sites to visit. The parking garage was across the street and very reasonalbe when you stay at the hotel. We are definetely staying there again. The people were very nice and helpful.
Where do I begin? I stayed here the first half of August 2010. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were a decent size with nice appliances, HOWEVER: The wireless internet is absolutely horrible. You can't even get decent reception in the common area (which was nice itself), not to mention the rooms! Even the wired internet went out for 3 days! Every outlet in my room had two plugs, but... plus
Location is tres bien, easy to walk to all downtown locations, close to the Place d'arts to see evening festivals. Close to conferences in Place du Canada. Kitchen is nice, we at in mostly in evening with food from markets and grocery store two short blocks east. Parking is not available. There are a FEW to rent in the building underground and you can use the hotels across the street for... plus
Myself and three friends recently spent a weekend at this hotel in Montreal. The location is perfect - you are within a five-minute walk of Ste-Catherine, Crescent, and St-Laurent. We had a one-bedroom suite, which was quite large and very clean. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessary pots, pans, and utensils. There's a nice big flat-screen TV in the living room, and a balcony... plus
I bring my son to Montreal, to see my family, every year. Normally I stay at the Le Centre Sheraton Montreal. This year I decided we should stay longer so I opted for a suite here, less $$, than the Sheraton. It worked out perfectly. The staff was very friendly, though I'm not an overly needy traveler, therefore I didn't ask them for much. Everyone I came across spoke English, so that's a plus... plus
Nice room, soft bed, and great customer service. What a memorable trip!!!
My stay at the L'Appartement Hotel wasn't very pleasant. The air conditioning was broken and the room was too hot to sleep well (I arrived too late at night to notice the AC unit didn't produce any cool air until I woke up to the fire alarm at 3:30 a.m. with a sweat). In the morning, the staff of the hotel engaged in a loud argument with a few guests over the bill. Overall, the hotel was... plus
“Overall, my husband and I were rather pleased with the hotel. The room was large and had a kitchenette for cooking, etc. The hotel had a continental breakfast until 9:30, which we could bring up food to the room and eat. The bed was a little too firm, but the room was comfortable and fairly clean. We would most likely stay in this hotel again. At the end of our stay, we discovered that the... plus
